Or BF is going to make fun of me!!!
I read here once that you should have duct tape with you to make sure your drawers in the bathroom stay shut...does this still hold true??? I told him last nite I needed duct tape and why and he said "I think they will have the problem fixed by now!" When I told him it was "common knowledge" he thought I was nuts....So I told him to shut up and just go on the darn cruise and leave the work to me!!! He has been ordered to relax and do nothing...*laugh*

Please tell me we still need duct tape!!!!

PS why arent my email notifications working???

I don't recall there even being drawers in the bathrooms (split style in a Cat. 5). In any event, we had no problems with any drawers or doors and didn't use an inch of duct tape.

I personally did not need duct tape, an overdoor organizer, an extension cord or a night light. Our drawers stayed close, the outlets were fine for my wifes curlers, etc. and for me there was plenty of hall light leaking in around the door at night to act as a night light.

Just think about the fun. I type A overplanned for ours and was told I wouldn't be doing that again. ;) Next year I just going to take things as they come. The only extra thing I wished I had was a large glass for the beverage station. Those cups are so small I taking one of those big gulp refill types with me.

I hate it when he's right!! *lol*

In 9 DCL cruises, I never had or needed duct tape. If anything in your stateroom doesn't work right, let your steward or guest relations know, and it will be fixed.

We brought duck tape and used it more than once!!

We had a closet door that rattled at night....a little duck tape and we slept like babies!!!

We got one of our suitcases with a broken zipper:eek: Thanks goodness we had the duck tape or we wouldn't have been able to use the suitcase at all on the way home!!

I can't remember why we used it a third time but I think it had to do with the ladder from the bunk bed.

I will always have some duck tape when I travel!!!

Please don't duct tape the furniture, walls, doors, fixtures etc. The adhesive on it can ruin that stuff. Would you like someone coming into your house and sticking duct tape on your things? If something is rattling or not working correctly, please ask maintenance on DCL to fix it. They can't fix it if they don't know what's wrong.

Does that rule apply to misbehaving children:laughing:

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Can we write on the walls mommy! WAHhhhhh! LOL

I had read somewhere that someone used duct tape to hold the latch closed on the door that was between they're connecting rooms, maybe that is what you remember reading too....??

MEN!!! LOL Grrrrrrrrr!

:rotfl:
Just tell the other half that you was making sure he was paying attention to you when you talk, lol I always use that excuse so he dont think I'm a kook!

Good luck!

Kathy :cutie:

We brought it for the connecting doors but bungie cords worked much better. We had 2 rooms and didn't need the duct tape at all.

But what did save our sanity many times was ziplock baggies! We were constantly searching for ours for something, I thought my mom was nuts packing all that stuff but the baggies we used!

I would have to "second" the ziplock bag idea. Gallon size. These are great for wet clothes, seashells, protecting photos, gathering mementos, taking some "left over" room service or snack items on your excursions...........
