Would love your advice/comments/suggestions -

This is our first year off-site, as well as our first year going in the HEAT of August. For 12 years in a row, we have always gone in either Nov or Dec and stayed on-site.

This year we are doing 5 days leading up to our Disney Cruise with two startling changes - OFF SITE and NO THEME PARKS!

:scared1::scared1::scared1:

My kids can't take the heat and humidity so we are only planning water parks and indoor activities - will I regret it?!?!

I feel like I am already regretting getting talked into the Nick Hotel but the kids are SO excited. ???

Aug 10
Land - check in at hotel
Drive to WDW for dinner and fireworks cruise (our only Disney "magic" in Orlando!)

Aug 11
Typhoon Lagoon then dinner at The Kitchen then Blue Man Group

Aug 12
Day at Nick Hotel - booked Cabana, Club Slime party. Kids spa, etc

That night - LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO - ideas?!?!

Aug 13
Discovery Cove Dolphin Swim then Hoop Dee Doo (our kids fave!)

Aug 14
Aquatica or Disney Quest????

Then Bibbidy makeovers for girls and dinner T Rex then shopping at DTD

Aug 15
Sail on Disney Magic!!!

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think your plan sounds good.

We are doing something similar next year.
When you book Discovery Cove, don't you also get admission to Sea World? We are including a Sea World day as well as a day to Kennedy Space Center.

Have a great trip.:)

Yes, the Discovery Cove tickets inlcude passes for either SW or Busch Gardens - or you can upgrade for 70. more per ticket to include Aquatica.

We have SW here in CA so the kids have been there alot.

Thanks!

I would suggest Cirque du Soleil or Medieval Times dinner threater if you haven't done them yet. Cirque du Soleil was the highlight of our trip in 2006 and we have done the Pirate dinner show and Arabian Nights but the whole family prefers Medieval Times. As to Aquatica or Disney Quest, if you have boys they will prefer Disney Quest.

We are doing something similar this year, we are starting with the cruise, then a week at the beach in Pompano and then Orlando where we will skip the Disney Parks (we'll still do Disney Quest, my son's favorite). Then we will do Universal, Isle of Adventure, Sea world, Aquatica and Busch Gardens. Also Blue Man group.
