You don't need tickets any longer to get into PI or any of it's shops; however, you do need to purchase tickets if you plan on going into any of the clubs. Make sure you go to the Comedy Warehouse and The Adventure's club!

By the way, welcome to the Boards!!!

Yes and no. You do not need tickets to just walk around outside in Pleasure Island, but you will need to get a ticket to enter any of the clubs. I think the tickets are $16 now? and that gets you into all the clubs.

You can also get either a week long or 5 day pass (not sure how many days it is good for) for just several more dollars more than a one day ticket. Don't quote me on the price or how many extra days you get but if you plan on going several times than it is worth it!

When you at Pleasure Island, there are different booths for you to by your tickets. At any booth that sells PI tickets you can get the week long passes. You just let them know!!

The earliest show is usually family friendly at the Comedy Warehouse. :)

The week long ticket referred to was 5 days for $5. If you bought a one night admission to PI at full price (no discounts), you could then purchase 5 extra consecutive nights for $5 more.

However, as of late September they had discontinued that offer.

In late September you could purchase a PI annual pass and get an extra 3 months for free. My pass doesn't expire until December 31, 2005. This worked great for me as I have December 2004, and December 2005 trips planned. I stop at PI Adventurer's Club at least 2 times each trip.

We usually hit the clubs each night, maybe I should go with the length of stay pass when we check in.

Carol,
Not sure what is going on with the 5day for $5 but I was able to get it just last month for DH and myself. Just asked for it at the ticket office by Downtown Disney. I did get it when I purchased my pass for that night. I don't know if that made a difference.

Cool! I'm glad they still have it! The signs were not advertising it, and I read somewhere they had discontinued it.

Like I said the 15 month AP was the perfect choice for me this time, so that's what I bought.

I forgot they had changed that whole policy. How is it working out? For those who have seen the before and after, is it better or worse?

I am debating on whether I should get my Dad a UPH for all 7 days or knock off the first day (since we won't be doing a park) and just get him a single admission to PI for that night. Hmmm, I'll have to check the $$ difference.

What is the best deal you can get a one time PI ticket for? Our DS(12) loves comedy. I would love to take him to the early Comedy Warehouse show, but hate to pay alot for just the 1 show then leave. DH & I have been to CW a couple times, and the show we went to was definitely okay for preteen/ teens. As a matter of fact, we saw quite a few kids. Is the early shows of Adventure's Club teen friendly? That may make paying the full price a little more feasible. Too bad you can't just pay to go to CW, since it seems to be the only kid friendly one. :( TIA

The first couple of AC shows are pretty kid friendly. However, the cast will make some type of comment about bringing a kid into a bar, but it's all in fun.

My older teenagers have stayed all the way through Hoopla, (HOOP LAAAA!!!!!) but then they were 16 & 17 at the time and both over 6 feet tall.

I don't think PI is meant to be kid friendly. Some of the early shows are pretty tame, but let's face it, PI is there for the adults.

I think the Balderdash Cup at the Adventurers Club would be suitable for about any audience. I think it's usually around 8:00.

I realize it's not meant for kids, but like I mentioned earlier I have been to Comedy Warehouse, and it was definitely PG. That's the reason I mentioned that it would be nice to have a seperate admission for CW. My DS (and most teenagers) loves comedy, and he would love it there. DH & I aren't into drinking or clubbing so I'm really looking for things he'll enjoy. Does anyone know of another family friendly comedy show near WDW? We're already going to the Outta Control Magic Show. Thanks for the info. on the Adventurer's Club. :wave2:

Here we go again about kids going to PI! lol Hold on to your seats! lol Maybe they should just lock this thread now! This usually becomes a very heated debate! Check the archives. My kids really enjoyed the comedy club and adventure club , and jazz club. They were 7 & 8 at the time and there was nothing that was inappropiate for them. Very PG.
