My MOH and I are discussing plans for my bachorlette party the night before the wedding. Now we know we can only go out unil like 11 pm starting out about 730-8pm.

Now the debate is pleasure island vs. jellyrolls.

I know pleasure island is closing in september but my wedding is in august so i can still go there. I've been there pently of time.

Jellyrolls. I have never been and dont know to much about.

Can you give me your thoughts on both to help me pick???

If anyone has pictures of jellyrolls can you post them. Do they have a cover and what kind of music do they play.

Thanks Renee

This is from allears
Jellyrolls -- A sing-along bar, with dueling piano players who take requests. Weekends can be SRO, so try to get there no later than 9! Jellyrolls is open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. nightly. There's a $10 cover charge, but no drink minimum. Must be 21. And tell Ray we said HI!

It really comes down to what you would like. PI is mainly dancing, though you do have Adventures Club and Comedy Warehouse. Jellyrolls is a bar where you hangout and listen to the music.

You know, honestly I might hit up PI, just because a month after your wedding they're closing it forever!!! :guilty: :sad2:

I agree with Alissa. Next time you go to Disney, you will be able to go to Jellyrolls, but PI will no longer exist.

:worried: Sooo bummed I will just miss the cut off!! Last time we went I was too young. Sucksville. Not that I'm a big clubber anyway, but we went to CW and I would have loved to take DF there...Does anyone know if that will still be open or if that's part of the overhaul?:confused3

Do you mean CW as in Citywalk at Universal? I'm pretty sure that'll still be around.

Totally Pleasure Island!! Especially that there is going to be no more:sad2:

Definately PI, I would hit the Adventures Club and the Comedy Warehouse.

I have to be the odd person out and vote Jellyrolls! We love singing along and the guys are great to watch. Call me Badluck Schleprock but everytime we go to PI it is so quiet....like we are the only ones staying on-site quiet....weird!

We have made a decision we are actually going to Drumroll please popcorn::
Jellyrolls:banana: . I made my decision on what I saw from videos on youtube. I will be going to pleasure island later that week after the wedding is over with.. the next day or so.

Thanks for everyones input.

sorry to be dense here but I honestly am not in on the info about PI. What do you mean that it is closing? As in forever or as in it's closing for like 2 months to renovate?

As in forever closing. They are putting more stores and dining there instead. 9/27 is the last night :(

If you are going to Adventurer's Club after the wedding, be sure and tell them that you are newlyweds! They gave us the most amazing presents (well, amazing in their own way :rotfl2: )

We are so very sad about the closing and plan on going several times before the fun is over.

RIP Adventurers Club:worship:

I sure would love to hear a spoiler on this :flower3: :3dglasses

OK, since you asked..lol. We have been there quite a bit in the past and my husband has always been recognized (since he looks a lot like Santa Claus)

When we went in the night after our wedding with my adult kids, we told the French Maid that we had just gotten married. She got very excited, went away for a bit and returned with:

Two plastic drink cups full of "bar fruit"
Two "antique" Explorers Club pins
Two paper napkins in which she had wrapped several sharks teeth! :rotfl2:

She said she had been to my Bridal Registry and noticed that I really wanted these and they were actually her very own wisdom teeth that had been removed a few years ago :rotfl2:

Got to love the folks at the Club! My kids were terribly impressed! :lmao:

You made a great decison- you will LOVE Jellyrolls. It is my favorite bar down in Disney. It's a dueling piano bar and very interactive. We had our wedding at the Yacht Club and the entire wedding walked over to Jellyrolls aftewards. We ended up closing the place! They found out that it was our wedding night, so they brought us up on stage with a couple who was celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. We did a song & dance up on stage with them...it's on youtube somewhere. It was an absolute blast. They will definitely help make your bachelorette party unforgettable! Enjoy!

For my B'ette party our whole family and friends- even the guys went to jellyrolls early in the evening. At around 10pm a bunch of us girls left and went to PI and the guys did their own thing. The only thing is we stayed out very late lol! that is why I had my party 2 days before the wedding:scared: :rotfl:
