For the 1st time I'm going to brave MK on my own with my two daughters (DD9, DD4)

I managed somehow to get a coveted 8:05am ADR for BOG..
Which was at the top of DD9..
Top of DD4 wish list is to ride 7dmt more than once this trip.

Can some of you list your strategy for getting through you breakfast quickly and getting more than 1 ride on 7dmt before Rope drop?
also what time is best to arrive at MK for a 8:05 ADR?.
Thank you for any advice you can give...

Preorder your breakfast
Get to the park between 7:15 am and 7:30 am (or earlier if you want to be one of the first in line).
They will start letting BOG breakfast people in at around 7:45 am.
Walk briskly to restaurant
Enjoy!

We've been the first one's into BOG in the morning and we easily finished breakfast (without rushing) by 8:30am.

We were there on 11/15. We rode the boat from fort wilderness to contemporary and walked over. The time stamp on my pictures say we were behind the contemporary at 7:35 and on main street at 7:56. There was a bit of a line to get into the park for breakfast but it moved quick. We had preordered. We were back out and in line for mine train at 840. They started letting us ride at 845. We could've went back on but this was going to be our chance to see a&e with a short wait so we went there next.
Have fun!

We just did this with our 8 and 3 year old daughters in September. Arrived at gate around 7:25. Have something for your little ones to do. Mine were anxious to get inside. We were at BOG before 8 am. Seated immediately and food came quickly. We only ordered 2 meals for four people. Our girls do not eat a lot. Out by 8:30 and in line for Sdmt. We had to wait about 15 feet from entrance. A Cm was there telling us to wait. We were 6th in line at 8:30. Got first ride of the day. Rode Sdmt twice with no wait. Awesome experience.

Hope you have a wonderful time. We loved our last trip with our girls. I took them to the parks alone in July and it was a huge challenge. Be sure to give them plenty of rest time and don't run them ragged.

There really is no trick to it. Just know where you are going (know the maps) and be prepared with kids (snacks, games, etc.) for when they have to wait in line. Cm's know what you are there for and they will guide you. They make it easy.

Thanks for the advice.. Feeling very overwhelmed and excited by it..

Just a few more questions...
Can someone explain how Per order food works?
I order at 30 days and then what happen when I show up at BOG?

Also will be bringing a stroller.. Nearest stroller parking?
Will probly leave stroller in stroller parking untill after 7dmt

Try and get to entrance at least 15 mins before your reservation time, in fact if you are there really early then you can get bag checked, get thro ticket scanners and then be in the reservation check in line all in good time. Also have your menus picked - if you have set up my disney experience then you can select your menu choice there alone side your reservation on it. Also when your finished your breakfast then 7dmt is only a few mins away so quick walk to it and if your lucky get in line for first ride. Why not book fastpass for it too for later in morning and ride twice that way.

As for stroller parking, there is some at the entrance of the bridge to BOG, it was along the wall to the left when we were there. Just head to BOG to check in and it should be pretty obvious where you can park it or ask the restaurant check-in person at the bridge. We headed straight from our breakfast to A&E and left the stroller there until after PP that morning, no problems.

Thank you.. This was very helpful!!

Does anyone know of per-ordering helps?
Pre ordering absolutely helps. When we went (twice) in October they didn't stagger people entering by reservation time when they opened the doors at 8 or so. Everyone in line was allowed in at the same time. The first day as preorder guests we had no line at all to pay and were seated with our food delivered by 8:10. The second time we had 1 family in front of us at the preorder cash register and again were seated and had our food within minutes of arriving at BOG. If you are trying to get on 7DMT I would definitely suggest preordering (you can place your order even the morning of so its not like you have to decide what to eat weeks in advance). On a side note you may not get multiple rides on 7DMT. On both our days we were only able to ride once before the rope drop crowd arrived.

Same with us in October, allowed only one ride on 7DMT before rope droppers arrived. It was all a piece of cake and our breakfast at BOG was yummy! Do not stress, it will all work out!

For pre-ordering, make sure you go to the line for pre-orders. The CM didn't ask if any groups pre-ordered and tried to direct us to the main line (which was to the right side).

We had an 8:05 ressie and got to the park super early (took a resort bus and didn't want to risk it). We were out of BOG at 8:40 or so (we could have been out earlier but DH slowed us down). We headed straight to 7DMT and got in one ride and came out the exit and got back into the line for a second ride... We could see the rope drop group approaching and heard one of the CMs say, "And here we go!" We timed it just right for two rides. When we exited the ride, the posted wait time said 30 mins but the line stretched all the way back to the Tea Cups almost. So I doubt it was 30 mins.

Good luck!

I have a 1240 lunch ressie for this Tuesday. Can I pre order lunch to save time? I dont have a magic band or even a ticket yet. Im going for one quick day at MK only while visiting relatives elsewhere in Fla.

Also have an ADR for BOG breakfast. Need to convince DH to get on board with preordering so we can take advantage of our pre rope drop location.
