Our first night we are meeting up with some friends. We will be staying in the park, they will not. We are kind of Disney freaks(!), they are not. We will have six kids all together, ranging in age from 7-13. Please help me decide what to do with them.

I'm considering HDDR, which we really like, but it's so pricey. Also, 'Ohana's which we've also done before. But I will consider something outside WDW. I don't want to eat at EPCOT, b/c we will not be going to a park our first day.

Any other suggestions??? Thank you!!

I would do either HDDR or the Luau over at the Poly. Either way, you can't go wrong in terms of entertaining the kids.

HDDR. It is fun for everyone, decent food, always great service. A Disney experience without being so Disneyish if you know what I mean. There are no disney charaters or anything or really any WDW theming. It is just good fun. And the free flowing beer and sangria help too!!

We went to Ohana with four kids, ages 10, 7, 4, and 2 and they had a blast. We all enjoyed the food and the kids like the coconut races, songs and games. The adults, all six of us, liked the food and thought the grilled items were perfectly done. We also enjoyed the pot stickers and dessert.

My DD (now 9, the 7 year old mentioned above) is reading over my shoulder and told me to mention the yummy drinks! She had a lava smoothie. pixiedust:

I'd also note that we sat in the back room, so the adults were able to talk without shouting and the kids could easily participate in the games--just ask your CM to alert you that the games are starting.

I vote Boma!! I think everyone will find something to eat there. I love that place!!:thumbsup2

I agree that it's a great restaurant, but I was hoping for something a little more fun for the kids. We may eat there later in the week (just our family).
