We are using MYW and I thought I had our meals planned out until they changed Le Cellier to one credit (Darn Disney for improving the plan-LOL ) and now I can't decide. It will be me, DH, DD (8) and DS (almost 3). We have never been to either.
We already have planned:
CP (breakfast)
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
PSB (breakfast)- we love big breakfasts, can you tell
LTT (dinner)- a tradition
Teppanyaki
50's PTC

My thinking is the food may be a little better at Le Cellier, but Ohana sounds more fun- games for the kids and a cool atmosphere and MAYBE a view of the fireworks (otherwise we may not see it as we don't like waiting for parades or fireworks in big crowds and DS doesn't really like loud noises). But I just don't know if DS will find anything to eat at Ohana as he is not a big meat eater and doesn't like green beans. DH votes for LeCellier and DD votes for Ohana and I just can't make up my mind to also cast a vote. Also (PLEASE don't flame me, I will ask someone at the front desk if its okay), but I was thinking maybe we could just stand on the beach and watch the EWP after dinner at Ohana.
As you can see, I can see good and bad points at each and just can't decide :confused3

I think O'Hana would be more kid friendly. My DD loves it, we've only done the character breakfast so I don't know about the fireworks viewing, but it sounds really neat.

I voted for Le Cellier. The menu is great and after you leave the restaurant you have a perfect viewing spot for Illuminations.

Also, you already seem to have several all you care to eat meals and "kid" themed or friendly meals, one "adult" themed meal might be a nice change.

Plus, I would get it in there just in case 6 months down the road the issue is revisited and Le Cellier (and other epcot dining) are relisted as 2 credits, hey you never know!

The kids can order off a children's menu. You are right the kids would probably have a better time at 'Ohana's and you would be able to see a bit of the fireworks if you are there then (we have been and never really got a good view but weren't really trying to either). I'm pretty sure there is no problem watching the ELP from the beach. We really like both restaurants but I think you might have a more relaxed and entertained experience at 'Ohana's and the food is not bad so I wouldn't think your DH wouldn't be upset.

Both are on our must do dining on our visits.I voted LeCellier ,still our favorite for many years now. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

We think O'Hana is such fun and enjoy seeing the children participate in the special events that they do during the meal. I just love the atmosphere and the food is decent so I vote for O'Hana.

We ate at LeCellier in March. I think they have changed the menu a bit. I am someone who does not do spicey food, actually it makes me ill. I ordered what I thought was a chicken dish, and it was so spicey I hardly ate any of it. It did not say it was spicey. I told the waiter that if they are going to make something hot to the taste that they should note that for those of us who cannot eat spicey food.

The others in my group enjoyed their meals....

I voted for Ohana, it is so much fun and the food is great. Plus the Polynesian is beautiful!

LeCel for me. I'm a soup and bread girl! I    carbs!!! (no wonder I "failed" Atkins!)
