Haven't posted here before, I can usually be found on the DCL site, However, we have a quick last minute trip to disneyland for the 31st-the 3rd. Not being a baseball fan I just happened to see the post about the world series. Will they be over then? We were hoping we weren't going to have too big of crowds. Don't mind people, but since we are only going for a few days were hoping to avoid masses Also, has anyone seen any good rates for the Grand Californian? I got it for $169/night but I think that is still pretty high. It is the super sunday rate for annual passholders. Haven't had much time to research rates lately. Anything new at Disney? we were last there in June for a few days. Thanks!!! Elaine from Idaho.

Haunted Mansion is in its Nightmare Before Christmas mode.

A Bug's Land is open at California Adventure (if you have little ones)

It's a Small World will probably be closed for refurb to get it into the Christmas mode.

If you are going on Friday or Saturday, you will be able to see Fantasmic before it goes for the winter.

I can't help you on the hotel rates.
