Hello everyone,

I've been looking at this forum for a while and I have now decided to join in.

So here is my situation:

My DBF and I are planning to get married in Florida next year (as we both love it there so much  ) and I have spent a lot of time looking at various locations for the Big Day. I would love to have our wedding at WDW, ideally the Wedding Pavillion, (which princess wouldn't?) but it is just going to be the two of us.......so my question is; do you think it is worth the money for just the two of us?

We are going in Sept/Oct this year and whilst on holiday, we're planning to have a look at some places before we make a decision.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thank you xx

For me it is totally worth it to get married in the WP, but then again I am biased. There are other places at Disney that does intimate weddings that are less expensive. If your heart is set on the pavillion, go for it. If you are just wanting Disney, then do one of the other spots. You could always do Sunset Point which also has the Castle in the background.

we wanted a small wedding, and had an intimate at the WP with 9 people. totally worth it for us!

Go with your heart

I think a DFTW is worth it in every way, even if its just the 2 of you or 200 of you.

I had mine at the YC Gazebo & it was beautiful....its all about what your tastes are & what you like

good luck

I was married in Disney in Sept. 2005...and it was just DH and me!

I originally wanted Sunset Point but because of some other issues (major rehab at the Poly) we decided on Sea Breeze Point and I'm so glad we did!

I'm not sure about the availability of Sunset Point for September weddings. I believe they only allow weddings there between October and March (or May) because it isn't shaded and can get pretty hot.

To answer your question...is it worth it?? TOTALLY!!! You won't regret it at all!

We chose just the basic intimate package (adding only the pre-purchase of our proofs and an extra bottle of champagne) and it was perfect! We wanted something casual and personal and it was exactly what we wanted. I think when most Disney brides seriously plan and consider multiple vow renewals at Disney, that says a lot about the experience.

Best of luck on your decision and CONGRATULATIONS!
