please tell me what "beadies, mini marbles" are used for

I received, as a gift, some tubes of things called Beadies, mini marbles.

It kind of looks like glitter, but they are tiny round pieces in a tube.

Does anyone know what they are used for??????? I really have no idea.

I tried to google it but just came up with places to buy them and not really what I am suppose to do with them.

These came out a few years back. At that time, the thing to do was to use double sided tape, apply it to frames, ornaments, cards, etc. then cover with the beadies. You have to use a special tape, like Terrifically Tacky Tape by Provo Craft, that has a stronger bond.
