Vikings are cool and their garb is so much easier to make than Elizabethian style. Too bad there isn't much info on them. And I like the idea that I can divorce my DH if he tries to take the keys

HAHAHA! Your too funny! I have to agree their costumes take way less time to create. Every summer I go to this long weekend medieval event where you have to stay in character (Of your family clan) and there is a big medieval market and battle that goes on. Its pretty cool. But getting a costume together is nothing. We also have that benifit of getting warm animal skinned capes to wrap around us when it gets cold.

What's this called? It sounds like the events that go on with the SCA. Merchants that sell "period" merchandise. Campsites that use pavillions instead of coleman camp tents. Attending court in our finest animal skins!!
Our season just started and already have 3 events planned out in the next 2 months.

Ahhh Yes I know I saw that you guys were having a mini meet n greet! I would have love to have made it. I totally would have come too. I will be there all in good spirit though.
