... the easiest way to go from Sta Ana Airport to South Harbor. It is the first time I'm flying and I have no idea how to go about it. We'll be staying at Fairfield Inn in July.

Take the 55 Freeway north to the 5 Freeway north. Exit at Harbor Blvd. If you have 2 or more people in the car, you can stay in the carpool lane even when transitioning from the 55 to the 5. With no traffic, it takes about 20 minutes. Have a good drive!

There are several "door-to-door" shuttles operating out of SNA. Just exit the baggage claim area and use the crosswalk to get to the bus/shuttle area. Are you staying near Disneyland?

If your hotel is on Harbor, you should be able to take the Disneyland Express bus from SNA to your hotel. Like jlmarr said, just walk across from the baggage claim and take the bus from there. There's a kiosk right there where you'll need to purchase a ticket before boarding. Take a look at the Airport Proximity and Ground Transportation sticky, by 3TinksAndAnEeyore. You can always find this from the DLR Info sticky, at the top of the forums.

DBF and I usually take Super Shuttle from SNA to DLR. It costs $10/person each way but there are tons of discount codes online for $3 off each way (just book separately if there are more than 1 in your party). No need to worry about being on the same shuttle since it's pretty much a first come first serve based on arrivals (DBF and I have always booked separately but were always able to be on the same shuttle).

We just took a car service that was arranged by the Hojo. It's called Sunny's or something like that. $40 for a Lincoln Towncar - flat rate. $50 and they'll pick you up in a van if you need more space. Very reliable - used it multiple times. No need to stay at Hojo to use it. Look it up - or call Hojo for info.
