I don't generally buy CM (except for their albums) but a square maker sounds intriguing. I went to their website and saw a pic of it but no specifications. Can someone please tell me more about it. How big is it? How big are the squares you make? This sounds like something I could use. What about the circle maker too? Thanks for any info!

Actually there are two square makers ... the mini-SM is available as a Memory Keeper Club gift (spend $250 with your CMC and get it for free) ... it punches 3/4" and 1" squares. The regular SM punches 1.25" and 1.5" squares.

Also available are mini and regular circle and hexagon makers which also punch 3/4", 1", 1.25" and 1.5" ... they cost $20 each.

Lastly there is a new Fast Formulas Book that shows quick layouts using the makers.

HTH!

The CM punches are great. The squares are 1.5 and 1.25 inches. I believe the circles are similiar in size. The cuts are clean and there is so much you can do with the punches!

Love my square maker!

I have made serendipity and deco squares - and mattings using the puncher!
I have also used it to crop a zillion photos down for layouts! (mosaics)

I still want to get the small square the rounds and the hexagon!

I have the big and little square punches and love them. They are esp. great for making borders. You can make little frames with them too (punch small square, then put the same part of your paper through the big square and you get a little frame for stickers, letters, or small pics). I just went to a "Bordermania" class and after seeing more of what you can do with them, I will probably be buying the circle and hexagon punches soon.

The CM square maker is a must have! I love to use it with the Cm letters in it to spell out titles. I just ordered the circle maker but I'm not that thrilled with the hexagon cutter. I just can't see doing a lot with that. The fast formaula idea book had cute idea but after awile some pages would start to look the same.

Thanks for all the info. I guess I'm gonna have to go and take a look at one. A girl can never have too many tools-right?

I love my CM square and circle makers too. Just got the fast formulas book and am very excited with all the layout ideas. One thing I want to do with my square maker, but haven't gotten around to yet, is make some sort of mosaic..I want to take a bunch of floral pictures next time at WDW, and then make a mosiac page out of the pics. So far I have mostly used the makers for titles and borders.

Just have to add my two centslI love the square maker. I just completed my second calendar page (at least that's what I think CM calls them) using my square maker to fill 35 boxes with many different photos from our snorkeling experience at Disney's castaway Cay. These two pages get the most positive response from anyone who looks at my books. And what's so great about it is that the photos weren't wonderful to begin with but end up looking so much better thanks to this effect.

I just learned this trick! It really enhanced my pages when I made our Disney cruise scrapbook:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
