I've never eaten there and want to try it this coming trip.

I'm going for Dinner, so lets talk entrees. Do they have live music most nights? If so, what time?

TIA!;)

We heard some negative reviews of Raglan Road prior to our trip so we were a little nervous, but we weren't disappointed. We went on a Sunday and i believe live music started at around 7, but I can't say about other nights of the week. The entrees we ordered were the fish & chips (very good- not greasy at all), the beef stew (alright, probably would order something else next time), and kevin's heavenly ham (YUM!). I wish we had room for dessert but we didn't. I'd give it a try if you can, we enjoyed it and will go back. :flower3:

DH and I popped in there back in Feb for an evening light meal, we didn't have an ADR but were able to sit at the bar. Being a Brit in Canada this is something I really miss from back home! ;)

DH had the caesar salad and I had the crock o' pate, both were delicious. The servcie was excellent, even sitting at the bar and the atmosphere was really great.

This was our only evening without the kids and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I made my reservations at 6am this morning. I was worried that the computers would go down again, 'cause that would be just my luck. But, I actually had no problems at all using the online system. :cool1:

I'm looking forward to trying this restaurant when I go with my buddy in Nov. (NO husbands, NO kids!!!)

MickeyNicki, I took note of your review and will probably steer clear of those items.

So far the entrees that have peeked my interest are the fish & chips and the heavenly ham. (thanks, ilovejsparrow)

...and Coparm, I saw the pate' on the menu and thought I'd probably get that as an appetizer. Good to know you liked it.

Disney Genie: Thanks for the two links!

One word for Raglan Road

AWESOME!!!!

"She is handsome, she is pretty , she's the bell of Belfast City, She is a courting, one, two, three, please won't you tell me who is she."

From Tell me Ma

Man Now I need a pint of Smithwicks!

My DF loves the Guiness meatballs dish and gets it every time!

I'm familiar with that song, Iceman! One of my faves!!

...and one vote FOR the Guiness Meatballs!;)

Raglan Road is wonderful! we ate their for the first time in june and my DS still talks about it. we had the chowder i had the bread pudding for dessert both were delicious. can't wait to go back.

We really liked Raglan Road. The Guiness dipping sauce with the dark bread that they put on the table and the "forkful of scalolps - delicious. Everything about it was a great time.

Another vote for Kevin's Heavenly Ham, and Ger's Bread Pudding for dessert is soooooo good, but a little heavy (with butter goodness) so save a little room!
