Hi guys,

We have never been to LTT. Can you tell me all about it, please. I know it is served family style. Will we get a table for just the two of us? What's the food like?

Thanks!

We went to LTT for the first time this year and here's my honest review on the place..if you are someone who has simple meat and potato tastes you will enjoy it. You will be seated at a table by yourself. They move you along pretty quickly. The food was not outstanding, but it wasn't bad either. It was what I would call standard. The characters wear cute outfits though and I felt like we had much better character interaction there than our other character meal which was Chef Mickeys.

I agree with the PP food is good but not outstanding. When I think of our meal I keep thinking Thanksgiving...
Are you going in general or for the MNSSHP...during the MNSSHP the characters are in costume.
Regardless I think it is a nice place to eat and you will prob enjoy it.

Cool, I think it will be just fine. We really don't have "gourmet" tastes so this will be great. No, we are going a few days before the MNSSHP.

We ate there for the first time in Feb and really enjoyed it. The menu had a salad tossed with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing, turkey, ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, mac n cheese, green beans and apple cobbler for dessert. I think you will enjoy it! We plan on going back in October.

We're going to LTT before MNSSHP - we've never been before and are looking forward to trying something new

The lunch menu is great at LTT. We really enjoyed the food and the service was great also.

I agree with Tikigoddess. It was our first character meal - I think we went in 2000. The character interaction was the best we ever had at a character meal....I think they had just started the concept back then, and the characters actually took the time to interact with guests. We didn't see all of the characters at our table, but the ones we did see took time with us. Now the characters at every other char meal meal we've been to since - they mostly just pose, sign, and run away - if that. I preferrred the earlier concept, but I can see why they changed it. At least I think it was overall concept that was modified...but maybe the interaction there is still a cut above.

On the other hand, we thought the food was kind of boring for our tastes. This is the kind of food I make at home. Usually, when I dine out, I want something slightly different. We haven't been back.

There are two different menus.

At lunch, you order off a menu that includes lots a standards - turkey dinner, pot roast, etc. (my husband always gets the turkey, me the pot roast for our last meal before we leave to go home). No characters.

At dinner, the food is served family style and you are served flank steak, ham and turkey, plus the sides and dessert. Characters dressed in colonial garb visit your table.

We prefer lunch over dinner, but we have done dinner in the past. We just like the lunch menu so much and it is our finale tradition for every trip.

We are trying it for the first time in July. We have pretty much basic tastes so I think it will be ok.

I am so glad that I posted this thread. I was a little nervous about LTT but we are simple people with simple tastes. I am on a diet and pretty much eat only fish. I am craving "home cooked meals" so this will be perfect. The good/bad character interaction really doesn't bother me too much as we are two 50 something adults.
