I am so excited that I might have the chance to visit DLRP, never in a million thoughts I would but it might happen. Just curious if anyone could tell me about it, how many parks?? Do they have a Downtown Disney area?? What rides?? What is totally unique to DLRP that you should see because the parks in the state doesn't have it. Can't wait to hear all about it. Thanks so much.:goodvibes

Hiya, DRLP has 2 parks, Walt Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. We do not have a DTD but there is Disney Village which hosts lots of restuarants and shops.

If you've been to other Disney parks, you'll know pretty much what to expect. The main park is easily the best "Magic Kingdom" type park Disney have made. The budget for the place was huuuuuuge and it shows. There are lots of little details everywhere. It really is a beautiful park.

The Paris 'exclusives' include:

- A dragon under the castle (probably the best looking Disney castle at that!)
- Cinemagique - A fantastic trip through Movie history, unmissable!!!!
- Crush's Coaster - A fun Nemo themed coaster
- Space Mountain mission 2 - Very different to the other SM's. Ours has inversions!
- Alice's curious labrynth - A fun maze that's great for kids.
Indianna Jones Coaster - A well themed ride (though not the best coaster in all honesty)

There are also many more!

Best about Disneyland Paris is that we have newer versions of most rides. Many people agree that our versions of Small World, Pirates and Thunder Mountain are the best!

it's great - it's amazing.
i can only compare to california disneyland.
i love california adventure but prefer paris's magic kingdom.
space mountain is way more extreme.

crush's coaster is fabulous - a bit like california space mountain but beautiful.

there's the nautilus - captain nemo's submarine - a walk-through.
the restaurants serve wonderful french cuisine - rendezvous des stars, inventions and newport bay being the most typical - i love 'iles flottantes ' -soft meringues with custard.
walts is a great restaurant, and l'auberge de cendrillon is lovely too.

i like how 'french' it is.
i like to speak french there , and let my kids learn phrases for pintrading in french.

Thank you for all these great tips, I am so anxious to learn more and truly hope that the trip works out for me, it wouldn't be until next year, but still it is a huge trip to plan. Any more little ideas, feel free to let me know.:goodvibes
