I just made a reservation there for Sept 03. I booked it at 2pm. Is pooh and his friends always there? Do the characters vary?? How is the food. TIA!

It's actually Crystal Palace. :goodvibes:

Anyway, yes Pooh & friends are always there. The character interaction is okay, it's what to be expected at a character meal. The food is not that great.

We have eaten at CP several times. In the hour or so it normally takes to eat at CP, you should see the characters twice.

The food is fairly good, IMO. It is better than 1900 Park Faire, but not quite as good as Chef Mickey's. It's still good enough that we keep it on our list.

Here's a review from my TR:

This is not a super place for dinner but not bad. It's terrible noisy (yes, I know it's a kid spot) and the food is nothing to write home about, although the pork and mashed potatoes are good as is the key lime pie. The tables are crowded together more so than I ever remember and this was our 3rd time eating here. I won't miss not doing this again but would go back. The waitresses here are loaded down with work with the amount of tables they have. She was slow getting our refills but when I noticed how many tables she had, I could totally understand, as could DD19, who is a waitress.

We were there in March and thought it was very good. We ate at dinner time, Pooh, Eeyoore, Tigger and Piglet all came around. Yes it was noisey but it is fun to watch the kids's face and squeels when a character happens by. :)
It was just me and DH and we both enjoyed the food, we will go back.

We have done a late lunch there many times and we really enjoy it. We are all adults (sometimes we have gone with my dad (who is in his 70's) and sometimes with my DH son (who is 19). We enjoy the food and love it when the characters stop by for a photo. They do do a parade so I guess that is alittle noisy but it is alot of fun to watch. I did not feel the tables were too close together.

We have not done breakfast or dinner there but hope to on our next trip (hopefully this November).

Linda

We were there in November for dinner and are going back this year. We really enjoyed it there. We thought it was way better than Chef Mickey's. It's buffet, so you kind of know what to expect. It was good, not fantastic, but good. Enjoy!

CP is a must do for dinner when we go to MK. the food in my opinion is really good especially the roast pork and salmon also has yummy desserts. the character interaction is also good they all come around it's always pooh, piglet, eyeore and tigger at certain times they play the pooh march where all the kids follow pooh around the room it's very cute.it's never been noisy when we have eaten there even the one time we ate there at christmastime.hope this helps OP.

My husband loves CP so much that is where he wanted to eat for his birthday last November:rotfl: We do not have any kids and we are hardly kids ourselves but we eat there everytime.

It's the only restaurant we've eaten at three times...

and next month will be #4...

Is that any indication of how we feel about it?
