Please tell me about bounceback

I just read on another thread that if you stay at a disney resort with free dining this year. You can leave a $200.00 deposit for next year to get free dining but you have to booked this while your at disney. If this is true I"m going to be really annoyed. We just returned from WDW. Stood at the Wilderness Lodge from 8/26-9/4/07 and never received anything about free dining for next year. What's going on?

My friend was there staying at GF in late Aug/early Sept. and she never received anything bounceback related, either...it did not matter to her, but just FYI

Id love to be able to tell you as I have been on the phone on hold for over an hour trying to secure info. We are Pop now & flyers were in our room.

We stayed at Pop from August 28th - September 1st. The flyer with the Free Dining Offer for next year was on the bed when we returned to our room on Friday, August 31st.

We weren't able to take advantage of the offer because it starts August 30, 2008, which is too close to Labor Day. Not enough time before school starts.

I got the flyer and read it too quickly when it said book on or before sept. 28th I figuered I would do it when I went home when I called and started booking they said it needed to be done before check out sorry too late.

Got thru today, 10 nights, 1 day base @Pop =1233+change.

We were at CBR from 9/7-9/15 and the flier was on the table in our room when we got there.
