I am wondering how Bonnet Creek is ? Any info is greatly appreciated. The owner that I am considering renting from says that there is no timeshare presentation required for the rental - but that they will always ask you to take one. He said to just say no and I'll be fine. Is this true? Is it as nice as it looks in the pics? How about the shuttles - any good? Thanks for any help:goodvibes

It IS as nice as the pictures! I have toured the place, but not stayed. It is a bit remotely located, but close to Disney's Carribean Beach Resort (when you drive down the rather long entrance road you can see the tops of the CBR buildings over the trees). I don't know about the shuttle service. If you stay here I would suggest having your own transportation though, for eating, shopping, etc...There was a little deli type store by the pool. The pool area is very nice.

I haven't stayed there, but he's correct about no timeshare presentation being required. I've stayed in other complexes (that were timeshares), and they do ask, but all you have to do is turn them down. If they offer something good enough to interest you, you can take them up on it if you want to do so (I never have).

ETA: I don't know if you do ebay or not, but Bonnet Creek comes up on there fairly often now. I would only rent from someone who was SquareTrade verified, had great feedback, and Paypal protection (and would use a credit card for further protection).

We just came back from a week there as a guest of owners. We weren't required to take the timeshare presentation. In fact, we wanted to, to get the $80. Visa card, but played phone tag for a day or two, so they definately were NOT pushy about touring!

The busses were kind of on an hourly schedule. If I can dig up the schedule, I can scan it in for you. We had our car, and I was glad.

The resort is beautiful. The rooms were spacious and well decorated with nice amenities. The resort itself had a lot of activities, like arts and crafts for the kids, and poker nights for the adults, as well as pool parties and karaoke nights. THere was a little cafe by the main pool and lazy river, as well as a full bar and pizza kitchen by the smaller pool.

We spent a week in the 4 bedroom suite. We had just a wonderful week. Location was great, room was truly amazing! The balcony alone was spectacular. It was just beautiful all around lots of action for the kids. We loved the pools, We could have just spent a week at the resort itself. The grounds are so lovely, I would absouloutly stay there again.

They called us once about a presentation, and we said no. That was the end of that. No pressure at all.

It is such a nice new resort. The suites are roomy. The location is GREAT too. It's right next to Disney's Carribbean Beach resort, and between Downtown Disney and Epcot. Also very convenient to the highway so you can get to the grocery store fast.

I would highly recommend having a car, but the shuttle service is good. I think they pick up about every hour in the morning. And then 3 or 4 times in the afternoon/evening. When we took the shuttle to the park and took a cab back to the room when we were ready to leave.
