We are looking for a breakfast/brunch in a resort on a Sunday morning before going to MVMCP in November. We've never really been to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, so I thought it would be fun to have a meal there.

Can you give me any input about the breakfast in Boma? My kids are older and not too picky, especially when it comes to breakfast. Is there plenty of variety?

Thanks for any info.

Tons of variety, and nearly all of it is standard breakfast offerings. There are a few (slightly) unusual items - porridges, etc. - but I can't imagine even the pickiest eater having any problem there.

Great, thanks for the info. Everyone is pretty easy to please at breakfast, as long as there is plenty to choose from.

I just booked a breakfast ADR for Boma on our easy day at Disney. I think my teens will enjoy touring the AKL after breakfast. There were some good photos on one of the food porn threads. :thumbsup2

We just booked Boma as well for breakfast for our December trip. I'm excited to try it.

In my opinion Boma's has one of the best breakfast buffets on property!! Definitely one of the best non character breakfast!

It must be good. I couldn't get adr's for breakfast but I was able to get dinner. Is it any good??

Couldn't have said it better myself. It is a must-do for us when we go.

As for the variety, there are a couple of African dishes; hot cereals; pre-made waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats & potatoes; made-to-order eggs/omelettes; fresh fruits & pastries.

Last time we were there, there was a scrambled egg dish with goat cheese and chives that was heavenly.

The "frunch" - I think they call it jungle juice now - is a delicious fruit juice concoction guaranteed to wake you up. They also offer - for an upcharge - a wonderfully strong press-pot of coffee if you are into that.

The hotel is gorgeous, the breakfast delicious. You can't go wrong!

My favorite! I stay DVC and usually just have breakfast in the room but we do make 1 breakfast reservation and that's Boma!

The Jungle Juice they give you is AWESOME.

Boma has many great breakfast reviews. Actually, I think it's one of the highest non-character breakfast spots in Disney. The food is suppopsed to be really fresh and full of variety. My family keeps meaning to make it for breakfast/brunch one day, but there's so much to see/do in Disney. We also stayed concierge level the last time we stayed at AKL, and will this time as well, so it's hard for us to go out of our way to pay for breakfast when a continental (which is no comparison to Boma) breakfast is available as part of what we pay. I always am jealous when I pass by there and see people eating breakfast/brunch. Yum! Have fun and be sure to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the resort- it's truly beautiful, and one of the most unique resorts I've stayed at in the world, let alone in WDW! :)

We love Boma breakfast, been many times and the food is always wonderful! DH is in love with the corn bread and the fresh carved ham...I could eat there every single day

The juice was terrific, but I fell in love with the goat cheese and chive scrambled eggs and macadamia crusted banana muffins!!

I am a very picky eater and there is plenty of variety for me. IT IS my favorite non charachter breakfast.:thumbsup2 We are going there for breakfast in December and can't wait.

Boma buffet is our favorite. Try the pressed pot coffee and the fruunch. The cream of wheat looking dish is very good and we love the bagels with different spreads. We're avoiding all buffets this year because we got so sick last year. (not from the buffets probably but we don't want two wasted trips in a row.)

Just changes our ressies to AKL and don't have a Boma Breakfast ADR and can't figure out where I would put one! We have both Chef Mickeys (first day tradition) and CP on Christmas Day - wouldn't dare change either but somehow I've got to fit it in somewhere. Of course, this is dependent on whether I can even get an ADR.

We went there for breakfast in September and enjoyed it. There's lots of pictures of the buffet in our dining review (there's a link in my signature if you want to see them).

I just made an ADR there, too, for breakfast our day at AK. We had extra DP credits and I've heard such wonderful things about it, so I thought we'd try it.

You guys inspired me to make an ADR for breakfast during our upcoming trip! We love Boma's for dinner but have never tried it for breakfast :)

Without a doubt, this is the BEST place I have EVER eaten. I have an ADR for breakfast in two weeks and cannot WAIT. :thumbsup2
