Please tell all about the VWL Studios

Hi we are off to the VWL!! Can anyone tell me about the studios? I keep hearing/reading mixed reviews, a bit worried now. I know that there is some kind of dumpster view to avoid, very worried about this! I really want to impress the boyfriend since its his first time staying on property. I have stayed in the Lodge section, and always had a great time, but never the villas. Are there any studios that are better than others, such as view, etc.. Anything would be better than the dreaded dumpsters, Yikes! Thanks in advance any help!

I'm sure you'll love the Villas. Request either pool view, close to the elevators, or ground floor. Any one of those requests will help you avaoid the dreaded dumpster view. As for that dumpster area it can only be seen from the last 3 or 4 rooms on the right hand side (as you walk down the hallway toward the rooms) above the ground floor. It really isn't that many rooms, and some people probably don't notice or care. We don't like that view so we try to avoid it.

Other than that the Villas are great. The studios have a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette area with a sink/fridge/microwave, and seperate bathroom and vanity area. The Villas building is gorgeous. The lobby with fireplace is a comfy place to sit and relax, the Iron Spike Room as well, free laundry facilities on the first floor (have to buy your own detergent), the Hidden Springs pool and spa right outside your door. Very nice.
