So, I have this ADR at Marrakesh, but I'm just not real sure I want to keep it. My preference is to eat at Epcot that night, but I could be flexible. What makes it hard is that I have a gazillion and one ADRs, so I probably have all of the best ones.

At Epcot alone, we have Akershus, Les Chefs, Le Cellier, Teppan Edo, and Biergarten. I prefer not to do China or Japan that night because we're doing Yak & Yeti for lunch. Any thoughts or suggestions?

We've got all the character meals covered. What about Captain's Grille? Would you suggest that?

I like Coral Reef and Bistro de Paris best in Epcot. Since you're having lunch at Yak and Yeti, I think that Coral Reef would be a good choice. They have a few good lighter seafood dishes that might be just right after a heavy lunch like that.

Rose & Crown has become one of our new favs! We ate there on Christmas Day in 2009 and had a really great meal. Can't wait to go back! Coral Reef has such a great atmosphere, but food for us has been hit and miss. That said, we are giving it another try this year. What about La Hacienda? We haven't tried it yet but are looking forward to it.

I would have suggested Chefs and Biergarten as well if you didn't already have them! :thumbsup2

IMHO, the "Rose & Crown" is really very good and, again - in my opinion - so is "Cape May Cafe'". But keep in mind, if you are going to leave EPCOT to go to either CG or CMC, you could always "stay on the boat" to the Boardwalk Area for "Big River Grille'" or "Kouzzina". You also have "Yachtsman's Steakhouse" and "Flying Fish" as a "signature" option....

I would suggest Via Napoli in Italy. Great pizza, salads, desserts. It's our favorite place in EPCOT.

Via Napoli, Captain's Grille and Rose and Crown are all good options... and 3 different flavors :)

I love Captain's Grille the most... but the other two are good as well!!

Our favs are Via Napoli (went 2x on our last trip we liked it so much!), Chefs de France (for lunch for their price fixe option) and enjoyed LaHacienda too!

If you're not on the dining plan, then I suggest bluezoo in the Dolphin. If you are on the dining plan, I suggest Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. If you want a non-signature, I suggest Coral Reef.

Too much seafood?

For an Epcot-area place, I recommend walking just outside the back gate of Epcot to either Cape May Cafe, Yachtsman Steakhouse, or Flying Fish. All have excellent, excellent food.

Marrakesh is the only restaurant in Epcot that I would NOT recommend, so you really are improving with any other! I have never had a good experience there. I have heard amazing things about La Hacienda de San Angel, and will be trying it out in less than two weeks! San Angel Inn, the other restaurant in Mexico has great theming, and is something I would recommend for that reason alone. Hope that helps!

Via Napoli pizza is really good we get extra cheese. The stand outside is not the same pizza as inside.Rose and crown is amazing we love that place!! Go there weekly. My wife loves the fish and chips I like the surf and turf to me it's just as good as Canada steak.Morroco's food we did not care for but the dancer was entertaining. We have eaten inside Mexico quite a few times and it's been hit and miss. Both restaurants in Japan is good. Norway did not like the buffet. Germany buffet is really good but kinda load but fun

Thanks, y'all! I forgot to mention that we *do* have ADRs at Coral Reef, too. I've pretty much looked past Rose and Crown because the menu doesn't appeal to me that much; but maybe I should give it a second look since I'm sure dh and FIL would probably like it.

Hmmm...So much to think about. I may look again and see if Via Napoli has any openings. I know DH would really like it there.

Thanks y'all!

Any thoughts on La Hacienda San Angel? Is that the "new" restaurant in Mexico? What do y'all think of it? I went ahead and switched to this restaurant instead of Marrakesh.

We dined at La Hacienda on our Thanksgiving trip in 2010. We loved it and are going back next month. Service was super and waitstaff eager to make everything a great dining experience. Presentation of the meal was like a gourmet restaurant. They really went above and beyond. Food was fantastic. You will be pleased (if not more than pleased) by your choice.

And, yes, this is the newer restaurant.
