We have had a major trauma today - we are meant to be moving house tomorrow - 2nd lucky as the vendors pulled out of the first house sale. There is an issue with boundaries and searches that the solicitor has found that he hasn't managed to sort today and can't exchange contracts and we'll only know tomorrow whether the move will go ahead as planned. We've cancelled everything - phone line, redirected post etc etc and all our stuff (13 years of it) is in boxes and I have only one pair of knickers left in my knicker drawer - please try to console me as I have this awful sick feeling in my stomach. The people buying ours are in rented and need to be out at the weekend or they're homeless - if we can't complete I feel that the sale (and therefore the purchase will all fall through) - only pixie dust (and the Land Registry) can help.
