No Claire basically he won't do that until the matter re the search is sorted, hopefully tomorrow morning and then complete in the afternoon. There is a plot of land which has planning permission for a house next door and the solicitor who dealing with that sale has searched on part of our land by mistake. Our solicitor said they do a final check with the Land Registry before exchange and there was a warning that someone else had done a search within three weeks which isn't allowed apparently and the solicitors and Land Registry have to work together to sort it out.

Yikes that's a close call and hopefully it can all be resolved tomorrow, its horrible when things like this happen at the last minute! It is unusual for exchange of contracts and completion to be so close to each other when selling and buying a property so even more for you.
