And would appreciate all your vibes and prayers for our family. My "baby" of the triplets is going into the hospital In Jackonville tomorrow for her surgery's (cleft repair and hernia repair and possible work on her ear canal). She has Down's and any surgery is very risky for her with her many medical issues. We made it through her open heart surgery when she was 5 months old and this will be her third surgery at the tender age of 2.5. She has had a nasal flow issue this past week and we were hopeing that would totally be gone but again this morning she is running at the nose.LOL My other girls have been sick all weekend and both have run fevers all weekend on and off for no apparent reason. They are low fevers but none the less fevers. Our sweet Nanny who will be staying with our girls has taken a sore throat so the cards are definetly not in our favor as we leave this afternoon. Our 10yo dd is also suffering with a sore throat it's this crazy south georgia weather we're having. One day it's short sleeves the next raining and bundle up. The crazy thing is my girls except for my oldest have not left our house in two weeks due to the weather and are still not immune to the colds. I think it's us that leave and bring nasty things back into them. I'm not one to usually ask for prayers but I feel the need today you guys have great hearts and I would like you to include us in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks so much.

Tammy, I will keep you, your little sweetie and the rest of your family in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure everything will go just fine.

Please keep us updated....

Tammy:

I met all of your "babies" and your "baby baby" first! She literally STOLE my heart.

I know that God blessed you to be the mother of such an extraordinary child. Your love for her is so evident and so beautiful, she thrives from it.

She will be surrounded by angels again through this latest trial.

EVERYONE in my Dad's house was sick this weekend! I took him to the ER and it was jammed with people with the "creeping crud" I called it. I pray your whole family finds great health very soon!

Let me know, okay?

God bless,

--Robinrs

Thank you all so very much for all the prayers and hugs. My daugther came through like the champ she is. Her surgery's were very successful all three of them. They were able to repair her hernia, cleft palette and explore her ear canal. She was in a room at 11 this morning and drinking liquid's by 12! I have to use a sygnie (sp) to get liquid in her for the next THREE weeks! Only 5cc at the time so it will be challenging to say the least making sure she gets plenty of calories to maintain her petite weight of a whopping 23lbs. At 2.5 years old everybody asks me how old my "baby" is.LOL We arrived home around 7 tonight and I filled her up best i could with enfulsure and she went staight to bed on time at 7:30 like nothing out of the ordinary happened today. She amazes me the tolerance for pain she has. She has taken nothing by motrin since she came out of recovery. Again thank you all for all the warm wishes for my family during Mary-Clare's surgery you are a wonderful group of people.

Partyofsix - I want to wish your little Mary-Clare a speedy recovery from all her surgeries - what a trooper. MY DS had his cleft palate repaired at six months. It was tricky feeding him to say the least. Did they have to put her arms in splints to keep her hands out of her mouth? We had to do that for two months. No bottles or spoons or pacifiers either for 3 months.

I am so glad to hear she's doing so well. Children are amazing aren't they. :)

I missed this one I try to at least pray for all the kids that are going thru stuff, glad shes doing ok :)

Mary-Clare sounds like a sweetheart.:) I missed the original post too. I'm glad she's doing well.:) She's a brave little girl.:)

I hope everyone is feeling better now.

I'll pray that her recovery goes well.:) {{hugs}}

Thank you all so much. She does have "no-no's" on each arm to keep her hands from her mouth and no spoons no nothing but only for three weeks. She did'nt have a cleft lip and palette her repair was only in the soft palette of her mouth. When she ate her food seem to wonder back up through her nose. I know that had to be alwful for her but now she'll hopefully be able to eat foods with more texture. Right before her surgery like last week she started pulling her hair out. She has a high tolerance for pain it would phase her a bit. Now with these no no's on that will deter her from that bad habit. It seems to be working better than the sock i had on her arm.LOL I'll keep you guys updated but now she's home and sleeping tight in her bed with her sister's. It's funny she's still in a crib and the "big" girls are in toddler beds they get there blankets and pillows and sleep under her bed it a wonderful bond they have with each other.

Glad to hear the good news on the operations for Mary-Clare, Tammy (love her name, so pretty) My prayers will be with her as she progresses in her recovery.

I really smiled at your last thought there about her sisters getting under her crib, THAT IS NEAT!!!!!!! :sunny:

I'm saying a prayer for your dd's quick recovery and for the rest of your family. Hope everyone feels better soon.:D
