We are going in October, staying at CSR, with both sets of grandparents, and kids, 11 and 6. We will be doing the DDP.
We have done lots of character dining, but if someone has a suggestion for one of those, I am open to that also.

Any suggestions?

My husband and I really enjoyed the character breakfast at the animal kingdom. I believe it has been moved from restaunrantosorous I just don't remember to where. Anyhoo, we got pictures with all the charaters and I felt they spent equal and adequate time at each table. The food was pretty good too. Enjoy you trip!

We just returned and our favorite non-character meal was at Mama Melrose in Hollywood Studios. The food was great. I also loved Teppan Edo in Japan, its Hibachi and if your family enjoys that type of food it can be a fun night out for a family.
