My annual passes expire on June 28. I just got the letter to renew for $308.75. (Which is a very good price I believe!) Truthfully, I'd rather let them expire and get a new annual pass date. June 28th worked one year for us, but I'm thinking that if I buy them when I go in Feb. I'll have a the entire summer to book in 2007. Where do I order the DVC annual passes? Do I call MS or somewhere else? Please help my feable brain!

You can order the DVC-discounted annual passes online through the DVC members' website, or you can call MS to order them, or you can buy them on site at any guest relations booth.

If you order on line or through MS, you get a voucher which must be exchanged on site for the actual pass. Your year starts when you do the exchange.

If you buy on site, you get the actual pass and your year starts on the day you purchase the pass.

Best wishes -

My advice would be to buy a new AP voucher sometime before the end of the year and activate it on your February trip. That way you will get the longest use out of it, and you will be paying this year's rate before the usual Jan. price hikes.

I agree with Diane here. There is no reason in the world to renew your APs if you are not going back until February. Save your money and buy when you're actually going. Diane's idea of buying vouchers at year-end before the price rise is a good one. I wish we had done it this year: we bought in February, but if we had bought 12/31, they would have been 6% cheaper, ouch.

While I agree with buying the APs before the price increase, just be aware that the prices do not necessarily change at the end of December. I seem to recall a mid January change one year and early Dec. another. It varies.

Just keep your eyes on the boards. :thumbsup2
