that when you spray sunscreen in a crowd, you are most likely spraying the person on the other side of your arm right in the face!

I guess I should be thankful for free suncreen :lmao: but it aggrivated my asthma a bit and I was NOT happy.

That is all.

I have allergic reactions to things and I can only use a certain sunscreen. Getting unintentionally sprayed is a bother to some, but to me I break out in hives and itch. So be careful with the sprays out there! :goodvibes

No kidding! We have had to leave lines and areas due to people straying sunscreen. Please don't spray sunscreen in lines or in crowds or in an enclosed area like the monorail.

And I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand the sprays. Not only does is not work well, it leaves a coating on my watch and jewelry. What a waste. Besides annoying everyone around me, most of the $10 can is wasted in the wind.
I went right back to the rub on kind after my 1st can of spray.:goodvibes

It amazes me how many times I see people recommend spraying on their sunscreen as a RD activity to pass time while waiting. You're packed in a tight non-moving crowd at the gates. You're guaranteed to be spraying everybody around you. Even if nobody around you is allergic to your sunscreen, it's IMO extremely rude to spray anything at all when in a crowd.

That happened to us last year, a lady in line was spraying her kids and it got all over our clothes!

this is totally budget related because people do spray half the can in the wind. i used to yell at my guy friend all the time at the beach for that. i put on sunscreen before i left and did not need five layers. i wonder what the legal answer would be if someone ever sued someone over that.

We don't do this ever, we always spray out of the way of others. It always boggles my mind when I see posts like this.....some people need to use common sense!

That junk leaves stains on your clothes too. We found that out last year but it was my own fault. I don't spray around other people nor do we spray around the cars.

I actually prefer the lotion over the spray as it is easier for me to make sure it gets where it is needed.

My daughter is very allergic to all the Banana Boat products. I've never had someone spray too close to us, but if it happens at Disney, you bet I'll say something.

Why do people spray at RD - aren't you suppose to do that 30 minutes before heading out??

I like to spray myself in the bathroom before putting my clothes on - tank tops/small straps is a must since they move around so you need the whole shoulder cover not just where the top isn't when you add it - same for shorts riding up when you sit

I prefer the lotion for my face

Part of my problem was that they were sitting next to us at a table and I didn't catch what was going on until she had finished spraying her arm. At that point, it was over. If she had kept going, I would have said something.

I am sure some of it got into our food too.

UGH!

Common sense isn't as common anymore ;), it's been replaced with you first after me :rotfl:. I make sure that we all apply our SS/SB before heading out. I dislike getting the stuff on my own clothes and I would be so upset if it got on anyone else too:eek: The only thing we spray in public is water and I make sure it gets on only us:rolleyes1

All the bottles I have say to apply sunblock 15-30 mins PRIOR to sun exposure to allow the active ingredients to be absorbed into you skin. It works better when applied before you go out in the sun. So I pput it on after having my shower in the AM.:goodvibes

Agree!! The worst on our last trip was the lady spraying her whole family down at the table next to us- while we were eating!! Some people just don't use common sense in public places!!:headache:

We were in WDW the week before Easter. Riding the resort monorail to MK one morning, a woman decided to spray her kids- and subsenquently everyone in the car with her- with sunscreen. :headache: Mind you, it was 7:15 in the morning. :rolleyes1 There is protecting your kids, then there is being silly. The sun had just come up, for Pete's sake!

I just don't get it. We spray all the time, BEFORE, we get into the crowd. It doesn't take much brain power to realize that some people don't want to be sprayed with your leftovers, or that like the OP they may be allergic, and the one I really can't get past is spraying around food.

I have just about given up on people these days. Common sense is gone and stupidity and self importance rules.

I hate to say it but there are a lot of people that don't use comon sense.

Last year I had an asthma attack while leaving DHS. A lady who couldn't wait to have a cigaratte as soon as she left the park, decided it was okay for the rest of us leaving the park to inhale her fumes!

Then not 10 minutes later as I'm gasping for air another ___________ comes along doing the same thing. I moved further away from the mob of people trying to get to the bus stop.

I really thought I was going to have to be taken by ambulance to the hospital it was that bad. I was alone with my 4 yr old niece, who at least knew what was going on and was telling a kind guest (who stopped to see if she could help) what had happened.

This was not the only incident at WDW that I had an asthma attack. This may be my last trip, if things at Pop don't improve from last year. No vacation is worth dying for.

Great, we will be staying at the Pop nest year during ESPN weekend for cheer, yeah I know another hated group. I promise my kid won't be obnoxious, really I do.

I am an ex smoker and you know what they say about us, I hate it and smell it before anyone in my family does, I flip out and they don't even smell it yet. I don't have asthma I can't imagine what that would be like. So sorry.
