DS is turning 13 next month (yikes!). He is going to Washington DC for school at the end of October. For his birthday, I would like to get him two things he will need for the trip.

Front Pocket Wallet - DS has an old velcro wallet that is falling apart. He always keeps his wallet in his front pocket. I didn't even know they made wallets for the front pockets! Can anyone recommend a nice practical one that is not too pricey? In his current wallet he keeps his school id, any gift cards he has, cash and coins. Not sure if front pocket wallets hold coins??

Multiple device wall charger - DS has a phone, ipod touch, ds lite and psp. Are there any devices that plug into the wall and can charge several items at once? What are those charging pad all about? There will be 4 boys sharing a room in DC, all wanting to charge their stuff. DS would also use it at home a lot. Again, can anyone recommend a reliable charger that is not too expensive?

Radio Shack sells the I Go Charger. It is one charger and you use the different plug ends to charge a bunch of devices.

Another option as far as charging, and one we use at WDW, is to bring a power strip. I assume the devices he needs to charge have their own charging cords, it's just a matter of having enough outlets, and keeping them all in one place. A power strip really comes in handy for us. I believe to use the charging pad you have to have the special battery in each device, then place the device on the pad and the battery charges wirelessly. I don't know if it's possible or financially feasible to replace the batteries in all the devices he needs to charge. HTH
