We are planning to take the Breathless out for an Illuminations Cruise. I am not too familiar with the restaurants in the Epcot resorts.......we will be staying at the Polynesian. I was also thinking that we could maybe hop into the World Showcase for a meal. We (me, DH and 3 DSs.) need to be at the Beach Club marina at 8:15. This could be fancy, or doesn't have to be. Any good meals "you all" have had in that area?:D

I'm interested to hear what others have to say as well. Thinking about doing this with my family as a surprise. However, since it is costly, I was thinking more of a decent counter place or pub-type meal. We haven't been to ESPN and I thought DH would like that.

But if you need to be at the Beach Club marina, why not the Cape May buffet right at the Beach Club?!?! Excellent food and service.

When we went on the Cruise last December, we ate at Le Cellier ahead of time, I would say if you have a pass to get into a park for that day, eat somewhere in the World Showcase in Epcot before your wonderful cruise!
Enjoy it, and let us know what you decide!!

Hi,

Just so you don't feel rushed to make it to the dock by 8:15pm - I suggest eating right there at the BC or YC..

Cape May Buffet or Yachsman Steakhouse :D

Have fun... I have a breathless cruise planned as well for my stay at the BC

>>^..^<<

When we ate at Le Cellier, I made the PS's for 6:00 so that we would have plenty of time and we did.

I have made a reservation for the night of my hubby's 50th birthday as a surprise.............there will be 7 in our party and that is max capacity for the boat............3 adults and 4 kids........will we be crowded or is there enough room..........wanted to book the special birthday boat but this is sold out...........wondering if there is enough room for treats (i.e. champagne and chocolate??)
Please let me know.............so excited about this and would like to hear any and all trip reports!!!!!!!!!!!

You could also eat at the Boardwalk. Spoodles is a good choice!

Hi there... I was told there are no treats/drinks allowed on Breathless when I inquired :(

thanks everyone! this is the first time for us on the breathless....so i can't offer any info on it yet. i'm thinking filet mignon (probably because that's what i'm in the mood for right now)......le cellier, yachtsman?? who has the best filet?

i do like the idea of the clam bake too......this will be a very $$$$ night.:D

We booked the Breathless for our honeymoon in 2001. I remember it being small and overpriced. Saw it speeding around the lake (?) last week but it sure didn't go fast for us. I'd recommend Yachtsmans Steakhouse.

My favorite restaurant is the Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk. If you're looking for a steakhouse, I'd pick Shula's at the Dolphin over Yachtsman at the Yacht Club. But Flying Fish has a strip steak that tastes better than any of the steakhouses.
