Please recommend a TA

I used a TA last year that specialized in Disney. She is no longer doing that. Any suggestions, especially looking for one who doesn't charge a fee..

Look no further than www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com! We have 5 families using Rob there for our 3/4 Land Sea and my sister is using Liz there for her first family trip to WDW this summer. They've both been wonderful and patient with our myriad questions.

DU does not charge any fees for its service, and it's been around a long time and has a good reputation. You can't go wrong with them, IMHO.

My SIL invited my family to go with them and offered to pay for the rooms if I could work out all the details as she is up to her ears in getting a new home built. She is a Florida resident and currently waiting to recieve her Disney Visa, as soon as she gets that we'll be ready to move forward. I just hope it comes in soon before all the wonderful discount codes are used up! We're thinking Yacht Club, we stayed there last year..Thanks for the quick replies..

Hi there

I have used a company called "your magical journeys" they were brilliant and saved me soooo much money. I delt with an agent called Karen. I know they are not board sponsers here but they gave me such brilliant service, that i would recomend them to anybody.
Karen had to change my origanal reservation 8 times before i finally got the Poly concierge for 8nts followed by HRH club for 4nts.
I was origanally booked for POFQ for 10 nts....but karen got me such brilliant rates i ended up at the Poly

This site is owned, I believe, by Dreams Unlimited. If I was going to use a travel agent, I'd use them. They will check for discounts for you even after you book, help w/reservations etc...

I have had great luck with Mouseketrips. No charge...lots of patience no matter how many questions you have!

I'd like to throw in my vote for DREAMS UNLIMITED and another separate vote for their TA CATHY MILLER!! Both are excellent in my mind and that's why I'm using them again for my trip in 2006!

Last time I used one of the TAs listed above...and I had to call them to let them know that POFQ was closing and moving people's ressies to Deluxes and getting great deals. And that other codes had been released--they had been released for a couple of days. They were very sweet people, but didn't keep up with the discounts. Needless to say, I'm not using them this time.

This time I'm using http://www.themagicforless.com/ This is the company that sponsors what used to be the Disney Dollarless website and e-mail group but is now the mouse for less. They have been really good and even more importantly they keep up with the codes so I don't have to which is why I want a TA to start with. They'll even make your PS arrangements for you. And sometimes they have a special deal where if you book $2000 vacation, you'll get the Tourguidemike service for free.

My TA even found a mistake on our ressies and got WDW to take off $40ish because it was their mistake. Every little bit counts.

Have you ever thought of doing it yourself? I only ask because I went through a TA 2 years ago. I had to call to let her know that a code was coming out and of course she was out sick for 3 days so I ended up calling Disney myself and booking with the code then having my TA pick up the res. It got to be too messy. From then on I have done it myself and now it is part of the fun!! Good Luck. and if you do it yourself always check mousesavers for car codes and other good stuff.
