DH said we need to get a new scale because the one we have is consistently about 5 pounds or so off. It was not cheap and is less than 5 years old. What would you recommend? What type of price can I expect to pay? Thanks.

Try asking this on the wish board too, you might get a better response.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually have posted this on the WISH board with no response and very few looks.

After having 2 digital scales in the past that were always 3-5 pounds off, we finally went back to a scale with a dial, and recently bought a Taylor Professional. It has a big bold dial with easy to ready numbers and lines. So far, it's been accurate when I weigh myself at home, and at the doctor's office. Nothing like weighing yourself at home, then finding out you're 5 pounds heavier then you thought!

It wasn't too expensive, around $30.00.

we have a digital scale by weight watchers. it is very accurate. the one we have can be program to track to people weighing. it cost around 55-60$. this is the same scale that sold out on the home shopping network several monthes ago.

We love our Tonita. I think we paid around $60-$70 for it.
