Please recommend a good new moms support board

New mom here and I'm hoping someone can recommend a good discussion forum like the Dis where I can talk with other moms about mine and their concerns for support. I'm in my baby blues faze and could use a mom support group to share my concerns. Thanks

I found a good group at babyzone.com. You can join a due date club/birthday club and vent with moms in the same boat. But if you can't shake those baby blues, or you're really scared, call your doctor and discuss it. Hugs, new mommy!

I'd just stay away from ivillage, many moms are really competitive on there. It did a number on my self-esteem before I had to quit!!

when i was home with my little one and bored out of my mind i went on meetup.com and found a great mom's group that actually met up at parks and the mall, etc. you search by town or zip code. maybe there's one by you! congrats!

This is a fantastic idea. My moms group has saved my sanity 1000 times over.

As far as boards go, I had a great time on the BabyCenter boards. The new format is something I never got used to, though. Babble.com has great reading, but I've never tried the boards there.

Blues are one thing, PPD is something else. I had a bad case--up nights nursing and weeping, thinking my husband and the world would be better off without me, lots of anxiety, insomnia, etc.--be sure to talk to your doctor if your thoughts are venturing down a dark path or if it's all too much.
