i'm sorry to hear that. i had two friends kill themselves..both shot themselves and its really hard. i know all i could think of is why couldn't one of us help them? but there is really nothing you could do. to deal with the first time i had to walk..i left and i didn't let ne1 follow me and i didn't go home till later when i was ready to. i just needed space that time. the second time all i did was stay in my room and listen to the deftones over and over bc i always talked about them with him..you just gotta find your own little way to deal with things like that. my best advice is to involve yourself so you don't think about it too much. 14 is so young.

The girl I shared a locker with last year jumped off a bridge right down the road from our school and killed herself. It was really hard for all of us, but especially me. People would leave flowers, bears, crosses, candles, etc. in front of our locker, and it made me not want to disturb the locker, so I ended up not using my locker for the rest of the year. I also spent the whole day after she did it in my guidance counselors office. She was such a sweet person I don't know what drove her to do it.

one of my good friends dies last september, and it is still unknown as to what. they thoguht menengitis, but havent proven it. the same week at my school another girl died from a possible suicide/drug overdose. my school was hit really hard.
it sucks, but it gets better. i havent forgotten about her. i think about her all the time. you just have to learn to deal with it.

Last year we lost 3 kids in my school. One in my grade right after Thanksgiving, and then 2 a year younger than me within a week. One of the two did die in a car accident, but the grade was really effected....Not a good year at my high school. That and the 4 years I went there those were the only Deaths.

It will take a while to get over, but make sure you talk to someone, It helps a lot. I talked to my friends a lot this fall when I lost my grandma. And I bet most won't mind listening to you! Take care
