Please rate the beds in walking distance hotels

Not walking distance, but the Ayres has the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on.

Other than that, the Marriott Residence Inn has nice beds and lots of other pluses like breakfast included, a full kitchen, and next door to the Garden Walk for additional dining options.

Pretty much agree with all pp's.
BWPPI had very regular beds. Not too firm, not too soft.
DI&S definitely has firm mattreses, but not so firm that anyone in our party has ever complained.

I'm trying to figure out which walking distance hotels would be good options for us based on having beds comfy enough for my back. The only one I have experience with is Hojo's pillowtop beds which were ok. Please rate for me the beds of hotels you have stayed at based on pillowtops and softness. Thanks!

Did not see if this was and off site not on site thread but I the GCH beds, perfect for me.

Beds to avoid - Desert Inn and Suites and Tropicana.

Add Quality Inn to that list. I can sleep on almost anything and often will take a sofa bed if it means I'll get more space to myself, but their queen or double or whatever it was had me tossing and turning. I've slept just fine at Best Western Park Vue and at Carousel. I've slept better on the sofabed at Best Western than I did at Quality Inn.

I also agree about the beds at BWPPI...regular bed, nothing special, but not bad. The beds at Camelot are very hard and uncomfortabe.

Interesting that your bed at Camelot was hard. The bed we had this past October was so soft a squishy. But I am rather pooh sized though so maybe I just sank. lol:rotfl: But there were no complaints from the rest of the family either.

Sheraton has the Sweet Sleeper bed...very comfy and I thought much more comfortable than the Grand Californian. They have their own shuttle at the Sheraton Anaheim. I thought the Candy Cane Inn had so so beds.

The remodeled Disney Hotel had a bed that felt pretty good to me...but it could be because I was so tired that trip I could have slept on the floor. I would think (but maybe I'm wrong) they'd have the same beds as the GCH.
