I am trying to pick the best CS option for our day at MGM this June. We will be having H&V for dinner with the Fantasmic package. Would you please put the CS in order of best to worst?

Thank you!

MGM is the only WDW theme park at which I will not order CS again. I do not know why, but nothing at any of the CS facilites are as good as at the MK , AK or even Epcot.

I'll give it a shot...from what we've tried...

Since we've not eaten lunch at Starring Roles, I can't comment, but the pastries and desserts are very good. We sometimes get to MGM at opening, ride TOT and RNR, then have a quick breakfast here. We wouldn't hesitate to try lunch here... :thumbsup2

1 Backlot Express - we always end up here for lunch, burgers are pretty good, grilled turkey, cheese, roasted red pepper sandwich is good, too, good fries...

2 Pizza Planet - the pizza is pretty good, not great, but it will do if you're hungry and it's a neat, fun setting for the kiddos...

3 Rosie's - fairly good burgers and fries...

4 ABC Commisary - when we ate here, the food was just barely in the OK range for us. Nothing at all special or anything I'd go back for...

The only CS we've had is TS Pizza Planet and we liked it fine. Had it on the DDP in Sept. 05. The rice krispie treats were yummy! Sorry-can't rate the others.

we ate at the abc comm. and it was very good. We had the fish & chips and the double cheeseburger.

Totally subjective here - I guess all opinions are, huh? - but my stab at it...

1. Flatbread Grill. Just a little fresher, little more unique.
2. ABC Commissary (did I spell that right?) - a varied menu.
3. Backlot Express - burgers, etc., with decent fixin's.
4. Rosie's -not too bad, but there's better.
5. Catalina Eddies - Tombstone quality pizza, which I'm not ashamed to eat.
6. Toy Story Pizza Planet - Nominal, but OK in a pinch.

ABC Commissary - We enjoy this restaurant.
Backlot Express - One of my favorite burgers outside of Peco's Bills.
Flatbread Grill (formerly Studio Catering Company) - No problems here either.
Toy Story Pizza Planet - Cute interior, but not the greatest pizza ever.

I don't have any plans to go back to Pizza Planet. I have no problems working in a meal at any of the others. Maggie

Flatbread Grill sounds interesting, but according to All Ears, it's not included on the dining plan. Can anyone confirm?

Only one we went to was Backlot express but the grilled turkey sandwich was so good I'm going back.

We went to ABC Commissary and it was the worst CS of our trip. Not inedible mind you, but barely average. I'd try something else. Enjoy your trip!

AND don't forget that a new CS is Herbies Drive-In...
I was told by a friend of mine that IF they steam the roll properly...It will be delicious!!!!!!!!!!

Flatbread was once known as Studio Catering Company, and according to Disney's 2006 dining guide, SCC is on the DP.
