Hi All -

I just got the new pin code via email that offers a studio at OKW or SSR. I guess there may be another one going around too. I've never received a pin code before and even though I wasn't planning on a WDW trip this year I will have to re-think it. After all, I keep reading how people are practically ready to give their right arm for a pin code email so I feel I shouldn't squander it.

I know there's another thread about pin codes but people on that thread keep posting the rates they are getting for packages. My offer seems to be for room-only discounts (although it does say I can call for offers on packages too).

Frankly, it's been difficult for me to try to figure out what kind of discounts people are getting because they include their tickets, dining plan, etc. in their posts. I am hoping that folks will post either the nightly room rate or the percentage off rack rate they are getting for their room-only reservations so I can determine if this deal is good enough for me to make a trip this year.

I got my email on Saturday and called today. I booked the Caribbean beach for 3 1nights at $469, without the code it would have been $557. Hope that helps

No one really knows why some people get the pin codes. The suggestion I have read is to register with everything Disney so they have your email address. That is no guarantee. Like I said, I have never received one before.

I got one yesterday for a value at $82 per night or 20% discount on rooms other than value I guess or maybe for different dates-didn't read it too closely cause I knew I couldn't use it..

It's time to begin planning another trip (we go every three years or so) so I ordered the most recent planning video a couple of weeks ago. It came Saturday and today I received a mailing which says on the outside: D**** family, wake up in the middle of the magic at a price that is sheer beauty.

The offer is $371 per adult for 5 nights/6 days at Select Disney Value Resorts. It includes tickets for one Theme Park per day.

Is this a decent offer? We have only stayed at moderate resorts in the past and have gotten free park tickets through a relative, so it is hard for me to judge.
