Does a royal flush have to be the same suit?

A straight is 5 consecutive cards of any suit
Straight Flush 5 consecutive cards of the same suit
Royal Flush ace, king, queen, jack, ten of the same suit

Is there just a plain flush? With cards of the same suit but not in order?

I know a Royal Flush is the biggest, which of the others are worth more than which?

Are they all more than 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind or Full House?

Yes, any 5 cards of the same suit is a flush.

Royal Flush

4 of a kind
Full House
Flush

Also note if you get into a game with wildcards, 5 of a kind will beat a Royal Flush. And it's always your top 5 cards that count if you're playing 7 card Stud. 7 card straights count only as a straight. The two extra cards don't count.
