What stinks about early May is...........

Not only are Timekeeper and Wonders of Life closed, but Theater in the Wild is between shows, Riverboats at MK are closed, Pirates at MK are closed, Universe of Energy is closed. There is a rumour that Tom Sawyer might be closed since the river may be drained, plus Spectro is only being done once my week. Add to that Mission:Space may very well be closed now so at Epcot, only one of the four pavilions on the left side of the park are going to be open (Test Track) and we all know Test Track's record of begin closed periodically. Was really hoping to go on the Riverboat and tom Sawyer's for the first time.....

We are going May 3-9, and I was already disappointed with PoTC being closed. I can't believe so many others might be also!

May is our favorite time of year to go. March was awful for crowds. You will have a great time!

We have been twice before and are going April 29-May 6, then 3 days at Vero Beach.

definitely. i've heard on the resorts board that there are a lot of different conventions going on in may- most rooms on property are booked solid.

we'll be there the 8th-18th...hope it's not too crowded!

Oh that really does stink - I was hoping to finally catch Universe of Energy is really closed? My DH won't mind since he didn't want to see Ellen anyway!! LOL At least there will be the F&G festival going on or else I would find Epcot boring after riding Soaring and Test Track (and possibly Mission Space) I was lucky and cought Pirates before it closed. I will be looking forward to catching an new and improved Pirates in Oct. Also I hope since Test Track was just down when we were there in February for maintenance it won't have any shutdowns. Otherwise I will just be happy to not be working and to be at the happiest place in the WORLD!!!

not as bad as March is. We're heading down May 15-21, as that is the only time we can go this year. The last time we were there was March right during Spring Break - my fault for not paying attention to the crowd levels, then.

It was mobbed, and I vowed never again. Will the crowd levels then be more manageable?

well, considering that i did all my ADR'S last night for may 14-18 and got every one i wanted i'll say that the crowds should be light. so restaurants the CM told me that the night was "wide open" and i could pick any time i wanted! see you there!! look for me and my alien green mickeys!

We're going May 12 - May 21. So you'll find us there too. It's not so busy anymore. Spring Breaks have ceased at that point and summer is just beginning for some colleges, so it's really not too bad (May 21st is back to busy season again, so we'll be gone atthe last second)

We'll be there from the 13th to the 20th. We were there the first week of May last year and the crowds were light compared to our 2004 trip in April.

May seems like one of those "in-bewteen" months. In between 2 busy times!!

Judging from the recent threads here, would some of you please:

1. Hold extra seats for us at Fantasmic!

2. Hold a space up front so we can "catch up with you" in the Soarin' queue.

3. Point us to the shortest route to EE so we can run to ride it after rope drop.

4. Tap us some fresh Beverly at Ice Station Cool.

5. Make sure they don't run out of wrist-bands at EMH.

We'll be at Universal at the Hard Rock Hotel on May 19-20, then on to WDW from 5/21-5/28. Staying at the CBR for the first time. Know that Floridians are hoping for rain, but I sure hope that we see blue skies every day over our trip.

May is my favorite time to go! We went three different times around the second week of May and loved it. Now that our kids are older, we can't take them out of school anymore, so this year we'll be there at the end of June.

We will be there May 25 - June 3! Staying off-site with friends. Doing the parks after Memorial Day. We are generally there the week before Memorial day and it was hot last year but the crowds were light. Here's hoping for a light days May 30 - June 2. See a 16 year old in Tennessee Orange and you will see us
