Please,oh please, tell me about Spidey and Spongebob?!

I just read a trip report that showed pics with Spidey and also pics with Spongebob! It also talked of a Spidey breakfast! Please tell me about where to find them and also about this breakfast? They are two of my ds's faves!!!!!

Spongebob is very easy to find. He has his own store and can be found there very often in the play area for pictures. When you come out of the Jimmy Neutron ride you are automatically plunked in Spongebob land.

Spidey also has his own store and his own photo op area. You can have breakfast with him at Confiscos in the character breakfast.

Spongebob can be found in the gift shop at the exit of the Jimmy Neutron ride. Occasionally outside the store too.

Spiderman, Cat in THe Hat, and things 1 and 2 do the character breakfast buffet at Confisco's Grille in IOA.

On occasion, in the onsite hotel restaurants, the characters will be there for dinners (I know in The Kitchen at the Hard Rock there are times when Scooby and Shaggy are there.)

Spidey at IOA is so cool - we took my DS to meet with him last April and he talked to him for ages, signed his shirt and even said that when my DS grew up and was a superhero, Spidey would wear a shirt with HIS name on - how cool. DS was absolutely over the moon - here's a couple of pics

We did the character breakfast a couple of years ago and it was absolutely empty. There were *maybe* 3 other familes having breakfast. The food was really good and spiderman spent 5-10 minutes talking to our son about "spidey" stuff.

Thanks so much you guys...I'm sure I will be back with more questions as we are just now finalizing our trip decisions to include US and IOA! I decided this after my ds(4) asked me if he was gonna get to see Spidey at Disney..lol..umm...time to rethink the plans!!!

when we took our son(age 5 at the time), he got really scared. we finally figured out it wasn't the ride but the bad guy characters in the ride. we got him to make believe he was helping spidey--after that, we couldn't get him to do anything else for about 2hrs

We are here to help!!! I know my little guy was in celebrity shock the first time he met spidey.

Your 13 year old - is he adventurous? Like coasters? He just may find a new found love at Uni/IOA and you will have to add it to EVERY trip Your 9 year old will have fun too, its contagious!

at the spiderman breakfat the interaction of spiderman blows every other character interaction i have ever seen out of the water. tremendous.

The things that make spidey, cat in the hat, things 1 & 2 really outstanding characters for that breakfast, is due to the interactions they have with the kids.

You will be amazed on the amount of time they will be with you!

My boys were shocked when they went, as the characters talked to them.
They were even addressed by their names.
(coming from disney, we were used to characters not speaking at all.)

They pose for pictures with the kids and family, they talk to you, they horse around with the kids, in fact, you kind of wish they would leave you alone for awhile so you can eat..........


You will get opinions on the food from ranging from ok, great, wonderful to just typical park food.
You go not for the food but the characters and interactions.......


If there would be only one character breakfast you can do, universal or disney, this is the one to go to.


but, be careful of thing 1 & 2..............they are very busy little guys...
