Making my dining reservations for our February trip and I got this message when booking at the Crystal Palace. "Please note that your party could be seated at more than 1 table". What does that mean? Would they separate us? It is DH, DS (22 months) and I... would they really put us at different tables?

I am not sure why that came up on the reservation, however I would not worry at all about it.

Sometimes, parties of one get this message. I think that when they figure out how to split a party of one, then I will worry about it. I don't think anyone has to worry about it unless they are a party of maybe more than six.

For a party of 3, I would not worry about it. We were a party of 8 at 1900 Park Fare and did get split up though.

I wouldn't worry about it...they aren't going to split a family of 3.

Thanks! I have never seen this message before. I made a reservation at Hollywood and Vine and got that message too, changed it to the 12:15 time and no message! Very odd.

I got that message online so I called to make ADRs. Person on the other line said nothing about us getting split up. He did tell me after we were done that I could schedule ADRs online. I told him that I was aware of that and then about the message. He basically said it was LEGALEASE. That there is always a possibility but that it is not likely to occur.

It does go to everyone...and unless you are a BIG party it is no big deal. We had a party of 6 for most reservations next time, and were offered quicker seating to split up only once, but all the rest were no big deal...and we did not split up, were seating in 10 minutes. Our airlines once reassigned our kids to seperate seats far away from us and alone...we thought their neighbors would like that...and we would have a quiet flight:lmao:! We called and no problem. Disney is the same.

I received that message a lot for our last trip when making reservations, and we were never seated at separate tables. We are a family of 5. I don't think you need to worry about it. Have a great trip!

When I was searching for some ADRs, I saw this message a couple of times (once was at Hollywood and Vine - can't remember where else I saw this). We are a group of 4, so I was thinking that this meant that we may have to take 2 tables for 2 people. Luckily for the ADRs that we booked, I did not get the message.

I got the same message, but we are a party of 12 so I think it is likely we may be split up at some places. Does anyone know that if you are split that they try to seat you close together? Even if we aren't at the same table we don't want to be across the restaurant from each other if possible

Don't worry. If they try to separate you just smile and say that you and DH will take one table and they can seat DS at another...

I'm kidding of course. They will seat you together.

:thumbsup2 (<--This is the equivalent of the Facebook "like" button.)

I'll tell ya though, last year I would have liked to split up with my soloness. Screwed up my feet the first full day and was in pain for the rest of the trip :(. I would have really liked to place them far away from me and have a nice meal in peace :p.

I was wondering that myself, I cancelled a ressie for there because of that...it was me and my 2 kids how would they split that up?Just found a different date that didnt give me that message

We are six, and while I have gotten this message many times, we have NEVER been separated.

PS (It would have been nice to put the 4 children at another table but no luck.)

we just recently got this message too. I said I would be happy to put my kids at another table! :rotfl2:

I made three reservations for a party of 14 and they never said anything like that. It will be interesting to see if we get split up.
