Please keep my fiance in your prayers

A while back I posted about my fiance, Tony, who has epilepsy. You all had great suggestions for us about going to Disney World with someone with epilepsy. We actually are supposed to get married there a week from tomorrow!

Well today he had to be put in the hospital for a very bad tonsil infection (he was already there at the end of Feb. for the same thing) :sad1:

The doctor is giving him a lot of antibiotics and waiting to see if they help him. If he is better by tomorrow, she is going to wait and schedule the surgery for after we get back (and send us on our trip with plenty of antibiotics). If he isn't better by tomorrow, he is going to have surgery :sad2:

Right now he has a very bad fever which isn't going to help his epilepsy at all.

I'm a nervous wreck right now and I would appreciate it if you kept us in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks so much!

Let the folks at Disney know what is happening. Maybe they can help re-schedule your wedding, if neccessary. :lovestruc

Tony's health is the most important thing right now. He is very lucky to have you by his side. princess:

Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers that were sent our way. I'm happy to say that he responded very well to the meds and is much better today! The doctor is keeping him until tomorrow and then scheduling the surgery for right after we get back.

I'm so happy that he is soo much better. I know we could've rescheduled the wedding, but we really didn't want to wait any longer to get married than we already have. He will still have the surgery after we get back and we will get through it together.

Things are looking better for us now and we leave in 4 days! I still have so much to do..I better get busy!
