That's great! Never been to Downtown Disney and wondered about the hotels there. Been to WDW 6 times and was just wondering if I would get bored of it after my next trip in May. I forget that there is so much more to Disney than the 4 theme parks!

Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott last fall and we loved it. Did not miss staying on site one iota. (And this is comming from someone who cries everytime she walks throught the gates at WDW! I'm a huge mouse freak!) This is awesome!!

Dear Sheryl, I too love Disney but the harsh reality is that some people,namely my husband think going to WDW 6 times is enough and do get bored. But a Hilton/Golf vacation with a promise not to drag him to a theme park might just work. I need him for the parks but not to shop.

jaccceee, I think one of the great things about Downtown Disney is that there are so many non-themed things to do. Lots of non-themed shopping. Cirque du Soleil. Pleasure Island.

Is the Hilton going to be a part of DreamRes system? It is one of the Downtown Disney Hotels,and I noticed that it is not listed on the DreamRes page. We plan to stay there in March and I was wondering what kind of rates would be available through DreamRes.

It's nice that those hotels have become a corporate sponsor to one of the (if not the) most usefull information message boards about Disney.I have learned so much here in the short time I've been reading the messages; there's just too much info to be able to take it all in. It certainly is a testimony to the quality of this board and its participants that these hotels, collectively, have chosen to sponsor it. Thanks!
