I'm attending a Conference from 7-25-09 to 7-31-09. They have a special ticket price for us. Would $174.00 be a good price for an adult 5 day hopper? Thanks.
Gerri

Yes, that is a good price. It is nearly the regular price of a 3 day hopper...

However if you purchase a 3 day hopper on the Disneyland website at the moment, you are entitled to a 5 day pass for the price of 3 = $179

Looks like your conference is offering you basically the same deal!

This is the same price as the 5 for the price of 3 offer currently available on the Disneyland website. It's a good deal either way.

Have a good time!

It's not the same price. Via the Disneyland web site is $179 - so your actually saving $5 by getting the conference deal.

(Almost the same price tho...)

Check to make sure your conference tickets come with one Magic Morning/Early Entry (unless you are staying on property-- then you get them anyhow). If they do not, then I would purchase through disney since the price seems to be the same.

Thanks. I didn't add that the price listed includes the $5.00 shipping charge. I could do e tickets for no additional charge, and that would mke them $169.00, but I'm not sure how the E tickets work. If I could just use them and go thru the turnstiles with the paper E tickets, I might consider that. Have any of you used E Tickets, and what is that process? Thanks.

Gerri, the e-ticket process is easy and fast! You just go to the DLR website, pay for the Hopper with your credit or debit card, then DLR sends you an email with a PDF of your e-ticket, which you then print out (and you can print out extra copies for back-up, just in case) and take to the turnstiles at DLR. The CM at the turnstile scans the paper e-ticket and gives you a 'real' ticket in exchange (which you can use for Fast Passes, etc.). It takes about 5 seconds! You never have to deal with the lines at the ticket booths!

If you are not visiting DLR over a blackout day then it may make more sense to buy the Costco Disneyland Deluxe AP for $269 which includes a $50 Disney gift card. That makes the price for an AP only $219.

Is that a paper ticket or the more plastisized one.?

The real tickets we have gotten at the turnstiles when we handed over our e-tickets were just paper/card stock type tickets, not the nifty plastic/credit card-esque/laminated type tickets, sadly! This was just when we got Park Hoppers and gave them the e-tickets. However, when we gave them our e-tickets for the Halloween Party, we thought they would give us 'real' replacement tickets for that (if nothing else, for souvenir purposes) in exchange, but they didn't give us anything!
