Hey guys can you help us out. Time is getting close for me and my fianc'e to get married and have our honeymoon at the WORLD. What we are wondering is transportation from the air port to the hotel and back again. We are arriving on April 5th at around 10:30 and staying at CBR. We leave on April 10th. When we booked our flight and Disney package back in September, we got the travel, round trip, from the airport to CBR and back again. After reading the boards and heard all the things about Mears travel. ( we believe this is the name for it) we are deciding against them. This is our honeymoon and not trying to be selfish, this is our time. We are only getting married once and want to do it right. Now with that said, we are thinking about getting another service. We want a service that will pick us up at the time of our arrival, just have us and no one else, take us to our hotel and maybe stop or pre stop at the grocery store, and when we are ready to leave the world, take us back, but not too early, lets say 2 hours early.

So if anyone has any suggestions on what you have done or what you would do, please let us know.

I'd vote to make it extra special and use a limousine rather than a town car. It's your wedding, and it's only a few more $$ for the limo. I use Golden Limousine, Jimmy is the best and has a LOT of fans on these boards.

would you want to rent a car? You can get one pretty cheap for just the two of you and then you could run any errands that you wanted to. We like to use it just to get to the dinners at other resorts. Congratulations!

Hey Mrzboz, we were thinking about renting a town car but, here is the dilima. We are staying on Disney property the whole time. The times we do have priority seating, we are going to that park that our priority seating occurs. We just don't want to have to wait for a bus, when we can be using that time to already be at the park and even if it is before it opens, that is still some great photos to be taken. The cheapest rental for a car from April 5-10 is like $180.00, I believe. Now if someone can find it cheaper with the website, we will seriously concider it.

I guess that you are right. I was looking for a minivan for March for us and all of the other cars (smaller) were soooo much cheaper. One price that I remember was an suv for 129/ week. I bet if you keep looking you might find a better price the closer that you get to your trip.

Hi !
While grocery shopping with the Limo don't forget to get your adult refreshments at the grocery store so you can have a glass of wine in the moon light at your room at the end of the day. Spirits are very expensive at the resorts.

Plus call the Resort and ask for the Manager's name , then write him a letter , not e-mail which is not so personal, that you are on your Honeymoon and would like to know when you get there if there are any special ammenities for Honeymooners.

On our 25th aniversay the Cont. the manager sent somthing to the room.

Finally go the California Grill for one night's dinner and request a window seat also inform them you are on your Honeymoon.
