We already book a vacation package for Dec 12 to Dec 18 staying @ CSR with free dining. Now we would like to change it to Dec 11 through Dec 19.

Here is where I need some imput.

I saw where Disney is offering 25% off room only rate. I was thinking of getting a value room for the 11th & 18th. It would be around $75 dollars per night.

But I see where Disney is offering free dining so would I be better to add two nights to CSR and get the additional free dining.

Or I was thinking of getting a room outside the world that is not too much for those two days.

If my calculations are correct you are better off adding the nights to CSR. Free dining if i am correct (I am booked for 8 days/7nights with free dining and it lowered my own bill by about $600 and I am 2 adults and 2 kids) is a much better deal for you since you have 3 paying adults (14 is an adult right?). CSR is 30 percent off with the new discounts and at $154 a night thats only a discount of about $369 for the 8 days/7 nights. I wouldnt even bother switching to another value or another hotel. If you get a room outside the world u will have to pay for dining so thats more money. You will have to add the days at CSR for an additional charge but at the same time you are getting all the dining for free...Im not sure if my response is confusing but thats what i would do...Anyone else think my theory is correct/incorrect?

Free dining would probably be a better deal for you IF you think you will use it, since the free dining is worth about $150 per day approximately. Also, moving on the 11th and 18th to a Value is going to be kind of inconvenient. Just my opinion
