Okay, i am so confused! I am use to WDW! My husband and I just decieded to plan a trip to Disneyland Paris in august. I have never been there before and I dont know anyone who has. I was reading the website and if I am reading correctly the entrance fee to the park is included in the hotel fee...is this correct? Also, breakfast is included...is this only the breakfast at the hotel you are staying at or are there breakfasts in the park you can choose from? AHHH!!! i am so sorry, I am clueless! If anyone can just give me some insight as I honestly dont have any idea where to start I would really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!

Well, you are in for a treat. I just got back from a business trip in Europe where I spent 3 days at DLRP. I have not yet written a formal trip report but my running commentary of my visit can be found here:

www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1473092

The reports after each day are in posts #13, 27 and 71

If you stay at one of the six Disney hotels then yes, the entrance tix are included in the price of the hotel. If you do this, then they have a breakfast in the DLP park that I highly recommend called Good Morning Fantasyland. It is continental and the food is decent, but the benefit is early entry into the park.

The sticky links at the top of the DLRParis forum are all very helpful. They cover transportation, hotels, restaurants, etc.

If you want a guide book, the one folks around here recommended is a "Brit's Guide to DLRP". I bought it new from Amazon.uk as no one in the US was selling it and it was useful.

Other online resources I found valuable are here:

Hi Andi and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

Yes breakfast at your hotel or the Good Morning Fantasyland is included in your price if you buy a package. How long are you planning your trip to cover as annual passports may prove more cost effective :)

Thank you both so much for the insight! I am going to go over to read your trip report right now!!

I just purchased the book from amazon.com, so hopefully it will make me a little less clueless. We are WDW fanatics! we are DVC members and we were married in WDW, so we are so excited about the prospect of seeing another Disney park. We were between going to Hong Kong or Paris, but I was told the park in Paris is a bit bigger.

I am definately going to look into the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast. We are going to stay at a hotel in the park as I want to get the whole experience. I imagine the Disneyland Hotel is goegrous but it might be a little out of our price range along with the whole trip to Paris. Does anyone have any of the 3 key hotels they would reccomend?

Im off to explore the boards a bit more! Thank you again for all of your help! Im so excited and open to any and all suggestions you might have in the next few months!!!

All of the on site hotels are good, even some of the hotels close by are nice too but not all of them include park passes.

Look at it this way you will probably not spend ages in the hotel as the park is open late. so why pay loads for it. I have stayed in the Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge & the Hotel New York. All of them were great. The Hotel New York was te best but it was dearer then the other 2.

Of the three key hotels both Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay Club have their fans :)
I'm sure you will not be disappointed with either. Both are only a 10 minute walk from the park gates :goodvibes

Thank for the tips! I am leaning away form the hotel NY as we live in NJ and the NY themes are never our top choice!! LOL!!

Just one more question if you dont mind. My husband and I would both be staying in the hotel room. I saw a rate of $388.00 per night on expedia and it says it includes park passes. Is that per night per person or per night and passes for whoever is staying in the room? Sorry, I know that sounds silly but I feel like it is too cheap to include passes for 2 people.
