Okay.. I got a digital camera from Konica Minolta.. the version is a Konica Minolta DiMAGE X1. Konica Minolta digital cameras was taken over by Sony. We were extremely dissapointed with our camera. We are going to call them and tell them our complaints. Do you think that they will take that camera back and give us a different one.. or is there no use calling? Please help.. I need a new digital camera!! I know it was a mistake on our part.. but come on. consumer digests named it the worst camera of 2006

How long have you owned the camera?
Where did you purchase it?

Costco has a one year(?) return policy...
others are like 14 days, 30 days...
all returns are usualy store credit only, of course.

Ok, coming from your CB post. You are mainly disappointed with the zoom and say the photos are blurry.

You also indicated there that you are using the digital zoom.

Correct?

What settings are you using? Like I said on the CB, sample photos and exif data would be a huge help.

Also any info you can give about the shooting conditions you are having problems would be helpful too.

Is the camera still under warranty? Have you called the service number. They might be able to tell if there is something wrong with the camera.

I know I was very disappointed with my camera when I first got it. Lots of blurry shots with missed focus points. Turns out it was me. The more I learned about photography (a lot from the people here) and the more I learned about my camera the better my photos got.

well, we called the company and they told us to send it in and they would give us a new ?i forgot what they called it?. they said many people have been having problems.. so thats good!
