OK, I think DH is really tired of me whining about my half I did yesterday. He has offered to take off work and drive up to Nashville to do the Country Music Half and pace it with me. I'm very upset with myself and don't feel like I ran as well as I could have. I know I had some obstacles, but it is killing me that I ran better on my training long runs.
How would I go about running two halfs this close together? We will be in WDW for seven nights next week, too so that puts another whole spin on it. The Country Music Half is on Saturday, April 26th.
Any opinions? Should I just suck it up and forget about it or try again? I guess I could count this past half as a training run, uh?
I'm still contemplating having surgery in June and if I do, that will knock me out for some time. We're signed up for the Donald in January, but we're not planning on trying to beat a certain time - I'll be too interested getting pics with characters!
Any thoughts or advice?
(BTW, my left leg feels better today. Still walking around a little wacky, but I don't think it is serious. Hopefully, I can run a short run later this week???)
