With a huge Harry Potter fan in my house(new exhibit at the Museum of Science & Industry) I am looking again at the Chicago Half marathon....since the RNR Half is sold out I'm looking at this one in September. However, I was four years old the last time I was in Chicago....I don't know anything about the city. I've been on the computer most of the day looking at the different hotels and feel pretty overwhelmed(after all, I'm used to planning my WDW vacations where I am used to feeling like home---this uncharted territory of a non WDW hotel scares me!). Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay for this run and any other info you might have would be greatly appreciated! Is it a good course? Is it hilly? Do you get to run downtown at all?
